I have just had a rollercoaster with the Indian guy lmao. First he started linking me to higher price deals, so I said a good friend online reccomended you, so then he sais $25 dollars but I kept pushing him and eventually he said he does not have the cheaper one's in stock anymore and when he gets more he will sell me it for $15 lol. Oh well, we shall see.
$25 is pretty good, I want one! Does he accept PayPal at least?

I was supposed to pay $14, but accidently typed $15. I told him to keep the extra dollar. Got it. Nice! I wasn't planning on buying this game AT ALL. I'm not even a big gears fan but I couldn't resist. Glad I waited from buying the $30 codes. Now MS, do these promotions more

You can check the windows store app on your computer and it will show that you own it since it is a play anywhere title. Or through xbox.com
Probably extras from a retailer that's not bothering with the promo. Like a middle manager distributor type gets them and sees if all the mom and pop and local stores want to be part of it and when they don't, he's got left overs.

FYI, PayPal doesn't protect you if you gift with the Friends and Family option. You need to use the more expensive option in order to file a chargeback (and even then, it's a bit dicey since it's a digital code).

Go to the xbox.com, Windows Store on PC or Store on Xbox, search for Gears 4, make sure it's the single Gears of War 4 and make sure you are signed in into your account. It will say "You own this"'. Like this:

I have two Windows email addresses, one that I use for my PC and one that i use for my old gamertag. Which windows account should I tie the key to? Anyone know?
Use the Xbox account. If that's the account that you want all of your games associated with, use that one. Also, if you ever get a Xbox (if you don't already) then you can have the game on the Xbox as well. So I definitely recommend the Xbox email associated one.

Damn and I just found 5 bucks on the ground after I got cheap Gears of War 4 this has been a good day lol
I legit just laughed.
When it was at $30, $35 I was hesitant. But when it went to $15, I said I can take that loss. So glad I jumped in. Now the only MS Play Anywhere title I won't have is Forza (not that much of a car guy, but I'll play more of Forza 1 BC to see if I want FH3).
