fuck yeah, I mean, there was no doubt it's coming, and I wouldn't be surprised if it got at least the amount of budget and attention and the campaign this time. PvP by any chance? Hype!

The whole scale of the world looks to be a lot more grandiose compared to GOT, cut scene models and lip sync are a huge step up, climbing seems to be a more free form, foliage is better, draw distance is improved, descending from higher ground is made easier/faster (sliding) etc. IMO Tsushima was already a really good looking game and the issues it had were more tied to it's gameplay structure and pacing.

Visually, it's biggest negatives were low quality cutscenes, which seem to be greatly improved here, and the lack of rag doll physics, which unfortunately still seems to be the case in Yotei too.

Graphics still matter. You can't just make a sequel on much more powerful hardware, not improve them in any meaningful way, and expect people to be happy about that!
Of course graphics matter. I just said it doesn't look shit. Not even close. I'd even say it looks above average while seemingly improving things that really needed improving in Tsushima.

must be hard times for you, you are literally shitting on every thread, just checked your post history :D
Lol yes it is, but kinda isn't. Just chilling here, only videogames at the end of the day. I enjoy my hobby through 3rd Party games, but am disappointed about the forst Party output.

So....something they made in the first game...they could not make it in the second as a base feature since the second game is pretty much the same as the first? Man, these are some lazy ass developers.

Excited about this. Played a lot of Legends in Covid.

Single player is the priority so makes sense to focus on that first.

The message so far is "all free if you own the base game," so there goes my theory that they will go full GaaS with it, I guess... Its kinda wild if they would stick to the previous Legends model, having this amazing MP and not trying to monetize it while burning millions on failed attempts elsewhere, but I'm all for it

Theoretically they could grow Legends into a full GaaS-model with the old model as base.

Would be my preferred course of action and it would prevent a situation like Factions 2.

Then again, I doubt SuckerPunch is able to sustain a proper live service game, for the same reason why Factions 2 was cancelled.

Finally confirmed. Was wondering for a while if Legends is making a return. Still don't feel any hype for the game though, not sure why. Game looks great though.

Yeah, I was expecting sort of GaaS-lite, Legends 1 already had all the ingredients except it was all 100% free. Like imagine Sony deciding not to make money on those cosmetics even tho they could, it's just weird.
As of now it sounds like more of the same (2 player mission co-ops and 4 player survival at its core), plus likely 6 big, multi level Raids this time. I'm hyper in regardless but I'd be more than happy to see them supporting and expending it on a much larger scale than the first game even of that means a battlepass like scenario.

Wait, what? Raids?

They should make it like Destiny if they're going to add stuff like raids.

I'd be all over it.

I'm okay with the old Legends model though. Maybe it works best like that. Lol

Raids akin to Legends1 Raids (4 player co-op missions) where now you target those 6 demonic versions of campaign antagonists. I never played Destiny so not sure how that compares but that was were L1 was at its best

Ah yeah, completely forgot about that.

Still, my point remains. I would love if they will expand on the concept a la Destiny.

Its called standards. You buy a new console you expect better graphics.

So, based on that logic, every time a PC dude bragged about playing a console game at higher resolution and frame-rates on their monster rig, the graphics actually weren't any better after all ?

Good to know.
