There is Ninja Gaiden, there is Devil May cry, and now you can add God of War to the list of fantastic action games that challenge your senses and twitch skills without sacrificing a grand story in the process. High praise indeed. I think I've reached a point where I can't possibly get excited for GoW 3 any more. Its over 9000, people.

I felt that there would be more to the combat this time when I played the demo. Good to know the game delivers in all areas.

Yeah I want those interiors as well.. some games have it though, so if we're lucky GOW3 will too. Then again, I'm pretty sure the collector's box will include the "US" cover/interior... + an absolutely awesome track from Opeth =P

Are there pictures of the artbook I missed somewhere? I have been searching high and low for a picture of the artbook with no luck for weeks now :(

Pretty bummed about the Ultimate Edition shortage at GameStop. I have one pre-ordered and fully paid off there, but the fact that I could potentially miss out is uber-lame.

Nope. I could've sworn I had, but someone brought to my attention that there never was, so I guess not. I'm going go be pretty mad if it doesn't ship until the 18th like it says though.

This is a glitch that occasionally occurs with Amazon if you place an order before RDD is available. Doesn't seem to affect everyone though since I was able to apply it to my order from October.

Easiest way to fix it is to cancel the order, and place a new one with RDD. If you have a Gold Box promo/ECA discount applied already, it's a little trickier. CSR might be able to add RDD from their system or carry over the discounts to a new order.

EB Games in Australia sold out of the Ultimate Trilogy pre-orders over a month ago. I was like "FUCK!!!"

Then I get an email last night saying their ONLINE store has the last 42 copies left to pre-order going online at 10am AEST (about 2 and a half hours ago).

GOT MINE BITCHES!!!!!!!!

$250AU later. But fuck it, it's God of FUCKING War 3. It's the whole reason I bought a PS3.

I ordered the Ultimate in late October/early November, but I don't want to cancel to re-order because I may lose it :lol

I guess I will just wait until the 18th. I hope it isn't delayed.

Sorry didn't realize you ordered the Ultimate Edition. Have no idea if RDD was ever offered with that.
