Though honestly, in today’s age, the FPS industry would’ve been ripe for another Killzone with both Battlefield and Halo being in a rebuilding state, and COD not having a competitor at the moment. DOOM is its own thing. We’ve seen what happened with Space Marine 2; people want bombastic and gruff action games again.
Though unfortunately, with how expensive AAA video games are to make these days, I’m sure the bean counters at PlayStation would absolutely scoff at the idea of something that isn’t a 3rd person, over the shoulder, open world/semi open world, action adventure cinematic narrative.
