Why is the same style of building in every map?
All the UNCS maps look like an Empire remix. Lots of rooms and clutter. I want to see a Lockout or Ivory Tower inspired map.
You couldn't be more right.

REQ packs and free map DLC look REALLY nice compared to the mess they are in over there. Wow.
An AR with a bayonet and a scope.
So basically the Halo 2 BR with BXR is now canon
Its all subjective. I'm the biggest pile of salt here, and I think some of the skins look okay. But the fact that some of this stuff is changing for the sake of change, will make people express their opinions. No one is saying their opinions are 100% correct.Whilst I am not keen on the weapons behaving differently, I feel as though you all have different eyes and ears. I am not saying I love those skins, but they look alright to me, and the guns sound alright too. I just don't get the ire. Laser looks and sounds good to me. Boom boom!
Red Bull Destiny tie in? Really?
H5 can't get here soon enough, lol
Honestly just spin it off as 343 Presents: Warzone, an infinity simulationWonder how long it'll take until H5 gets a Warzone Arena mode

Ya I feel like 343 is going though a lot of effort creating all this content for it to be used in one playlist.

Soon TM
More dumb XP to increase your spartan rank (which basically did nothing) is a little different than an exclusive questline; although it will probably be bad.
Some people have stated they don't like these hitmarkers, but I personally like them a lot. It's still subtle enough where if you don't look for it, it's basically unnoticeable, but for those who look for them, it's not an eye-strain to pick them up.
I also think it's acceptable although if not fairly pronounced. It's way better than say a COD hitmarker. That shit is just too thick and obtrusive. Halo 5's are long and thin, they don't really block the target in any way. Still wouldn't mind if it was toned down a bit though.

The irony is delicious. Also... Just wait... Halo 5 tie-ins are coming.

I still have one of those cans. Unopened.
You can already test it out, it's called Big Team Infinity Slayer.Wonder how long it'll take until H5 gets a Warzone Arena mode
Double XP is not the same thing as a unique quest/mission.
Game Fuel is delicious. It's a permanent thing in my area now (current cans have no game tie-in branding)
I don't think XP from tie-ins is nearly as egregious as an exclusive mission in an arguably content-starved game.
Also, lmao

A quest that will become available to all in January.
Funny how this is a terrible outrage but the ps4 guns and strikes weren't as much of an outrage for the past year....

I'd say the amount of maps they're shipping + the remixes require them to reuse assets. Those are very clean looking surfaces, so I don't mind much, TBH. Plus we're getting way more maps at launch than ever before as well. Anyone who thinks that quest from Redbull is going to be anything substantial is fooling themselves, or doing some really good concern trolling.
It better be, otherwise a shitstorm will be a-brewin'.
It will probably be akin to that one-off "Urn Quest" mission--fight a bunch of DIFFERENT dudes in the same room you've done a mission before already.
I dunno where you were but there were many complaints had, especially here since most people were XB primarily last gen and would have liked to continue that trend.
I'm not commenting on the weapon modifiers, but I think Warzone (the mode) is going to be a success amongst the general population.
I was only mostly a lurker on Halo threads back then.![]()
Honestly, this whole destiny outrage thing is new to me as I've been utterly oblivious to it all until I started following neogaf and reddit pages...

Edit: ...and all this requires is to buy some cans of delicious Redbull, not a dang console.
YeahI'm not talking about req stuff though. I just think the 12v12 and having mini boss battles is going to appeal to a lot of players that have avoided traditional Halo mp.
This thread is making me thirsty
Might I suggest....A Redbull?
Yeah
I feel like jem, but I'm super excited for this mode. All the skins and customizations, bosses, big maps, higher player count. Feel like this is gonna be real good for halos player count
The dumbest part about the whole thing is that the gaming side thread about the Redbull has over 40k views, the Kotaku article has over 80k views, and the reddit thread has over 1000 comments, which means that ad has been seen well over 120K times by its exact target market within a few hours. It's exactly what they wanted.Might I suggest....A Redbull?

Everyone get's the mission in January 2016. People are over reacting imo.
