This is entirely unsurprising to me. People will happily exist in a state of pure denial over things, if it means they don't have to confront or alter their personal world views, prejudices or self interests. Wars, pandemics, politics, religion, climate... the list goes on and on. People inter themselves so thoroughly, over such a long period of time in a mindset, that nothing can get them out of it. Up to and including reams and reams of evidence.

It truly is the most pathetic thing about modern society, and one day, this entire period of human history will be looked back on with both shame and derision. It's fucking embarrassing to be a part of it, quite frankly.

I started noticing socialism becoming common place in U.S. around the end of the 2000s but it wasn't half as loud as it is now. That's where that whole 'reality is whatever you decide it is' comes from, pure social Marxism and the greatest powers / leaders did nothing to stop it. On the contrary, they invited it in with open arms. Anyone here who grew up in the 70s, 80s or 90s knows that the U.S., England or other powerful Western nations were not like this. This is also the reason why terrorists are now victims. Back in 2001 after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the majority of Americans still saw this as a pure act of evil and thus condemned it. How do you suppose people would react to a large terrorist attack like that in the U.S. today? I guarantee it wouldn't be the same pushback against terrorism we saw then.

Well, I'll agree with you there. I don't think that Israel wants this though. Ceasefire was becoming a global mantra and I don't think anyone in Israel really wanted this as an option to regain hostages. My understanding (or correct me if I'm wrong) was to eliminate all leading Hamas targets and for the IDF to rescue the hostages which weren't lost or already dead. It's great to see hostages returned but you also have to consider Hamas taking their time with this to plan for another attack. While the left hand gives back hostages (very few at that), the right hand is doing what they do with those billions sent in from the West for 'relief'.

The goal of ceasefire is basically for Hamas to stall for the time, for example, not only to replenish some resource but also to allow "pro-Hamas" and "anti-Israel" voices to become louder in hope to apply more pressure on Israel (and USA).

Background check should be mandatory prior to entry of any country. If an embassy sees it, they flat-out reject the visa, passport, green card or what have you. I'm a U.S. citizen who lives abroad in Mexico. The locals here can't simply travel back and forth to the U.S. (FYI -- it's not Mexican majority crossing the border illegally into the U.S., mosty Haitians and people from Central America who illegally crossed to Mexico first from Chiapas and worked their way North).

The pre-requisites for non-U.S. residents or citizens from Mexico to enter the U.S. is:

- Visa is required (not optional)
- Passport
- Background check

All require a criminal background check too. So if you want a Mexican passport, have criminal history and by some miracle it gets approved; you'll still be questioned regarding entering the U.S.

If you committed a crime in the past an apply for a visa (which can only be done at a U.S. consulate or the Embassy in Mexico City); you will NOT get a visa issued; which means no U.S.A. for you

Fail a background check with the two above documents while in a foreign country, violate visa restrictions with so much as petty crime; you'll be deported back to your natural country (Mexico)

Now, put this into perspective. Why are those strict precautions not taken for muslims before even letting them on a plane inbound for the U.S.? Why do they get a free pass? Israel (in context with OP) needs to up security for allowing muslims into their country along with anyone who has a criminal record previously. Make it as hard as possible to get in if you screwed up in the past. I think some misunderstood my message too. I'm not stating that giving an opportunity for muslims to leave islam means keep migrating them to Western countries. Anyone can lie but if there's any sign of a criminal record or threat; deny entry from said country. Those who find that harsh need to understand that this is not an ethnicity, it's not a race...islam is a religion. Granted there are thousands of big religions worldwide and cult religions too; make no mistake -- nothing is more violent and dangerous than islam. CTRL + F "background check" was the thesis statement. Thanks for reading that but the whole of this wasn't about visas. Just gave perspective as to how tedious the entry process is for Mexicans. Visa isn't just for living, that's for an anytime/everyday visit to the States. If it's the same for other countries, great. Should be difficult to gain entry. When I applied for my Mexican residency it was a 3-year process. Expensive, ton of paperwork, ton of stipulations and if I failed anything in criminal background check, it would have been void. However, we're talking general entry into a country. Customs and border control will do what exactly for inbound flights regarding background checks? This is a new process for non-U.S. muslims visiting the States if they're being checked. I was literally implying to single them out with checks. This was clear day one of the attacks. The solution most wanted on the 7th was to wipe out Hamas. Well, given Hamas dress up as civilians and this sometimes makes them impossible to identify in general population; if it were my war...I'd say eliminate em all and take no risks. The only innocent are the hostages. Otherwise, this will resume but probably another 5-years or more continually having to pause or truce.

And now Palestinians are defending their homeland with their last strength. Even Hamas is just fighting to protect their land.

I see a lot of muslim (religious ones) women around and from my impression they seem to hate a lot of other women. It reminds me of that mentality where "how dare you be more free than me!". Well that really is what they wanted ceasefire for in the first place. Hamas doesn't care about exchanging prisoners or returning hostages because they're not humans. They wanted this ceasefire to back build and try to gain the upper hand once IDF returns back in business. Thing is, they're nothing. Whatever they've been planning will not succeed and they are doomed for destruction no matter what.

Forgot that some of these bags of filth had did live with papers in Israel. I think it should be a matter of investigation (if they've apprehended these terrorists) to determine if this wasn't yet another 'free palestine' movement. They might legally live in Israel but that wouldn't be unlike a terrorist either. Especially Hamas. With Hamas, they've try blending in (dressing as civilians) and they've certainly influenced plenty outside Gaza.

Unfortunately to many expectations that this is a direct violation of ceasefire, Western media will ignore it or deny it. There are several docs I could share (which are lengthy) on ceasefire conditions. There's a part which they're exploiting which states that if the act of violence during a ceasefire wasn't prompted by the immediate party(ies) in warfare; it will not be considered violation. We all know it was a breach though.
