Hearthstone |OT5| Corrupted Deeprock Salt

The card I kept hearing people think was a joke was Anyfin, I don't think anyone really took it seriously and to be fair, it's hard to take that card seriously unless you've seen it work.

I think everybody took it seriously, but it was quickly pointed out that even though it was kind of bullshit, you had to run murlocs to make it work.

This isn't necessarily a problem, but Paladin already had access to regular eboladin and secrets, which were always going to be more bullshitty bullshit. And this is how it played out.

People keep saying this, and I don't know why. Wild is going to get a lot of play, especially since you can still get season rewards through Wild Ranked.

Especially after week 1 when there are only two viable decks and zero counters to them.

Which could easily happen.

Standard works in theory, but the practice, as executed by Blizzard, remains to be seen.

Standard and wild should both be fairly balanced at released. Its in a year or two that I think they will start to have issues.

I was correct, the context is above.

It might be a fun card right now, but so is Tinkmaster. If you want to play serious, dust that shit and make a mysterious challenger.

Looking at those predictions, I was really wrong about five cards. Museum curator (sort of), eerie statue and underplayed Keeper of Uldaman. Reno and Finley sort of found a home too. I'm kind of happy with that and at least I put something out there.

The big mistake in the past was Varian. I even crafter him but it just didn't work.

New card will be unveiled at 11 eastern:

We will reveal a new bad-ass #OldGods card today at 16:00 CET

They are teasing that:

It's big too. And expensive. And will make your foes pay for everything. And no, we're not going to reveal much more.

Been in a bad mood with the game so I made a casino mage with spellslinger, flame waker, ethereal conjurer, nexus-champion, rhonin and archmage. It is destroying everything with lame ass RNG fiesta bullshit and i feel better now.

This whole Massan thing is one of the weirdest twitch stories I've seen. He's viewbotting, he hasn't used a face cam for months when he used to do so daily, and he's always using a voice changer, it's clearly not the same guy anymore.

yeah I can guess "his" sub numbers must be down massively from a year ago. You have to be crazy to sub to that account now.

Maybe his battle cry is to give your opponent a 10 mana spell to instantly kill him?

I guess we find out in what, an hour? I personally ready for disappointment.

The fact that America's Winter Champion played, and won, with Murloc Paladin kind of negates your entire point here

I haven't seen priests or patron in a while so I'm not playing keeper or equality. This has more consistent draws/damage. one equality helps against priest and patron. They are like the worst match ups, I'm just not bothering with those. Currently rank 3 NA with this.

Just bumping this because I am having a blast with it. Its pretty damn fun since people expect the secret pally deck and usually don't play around it till later

I hope it gets enrage. They've really been ignoring that mechanic every expansion. The only non-classic enrage card has been warbot

Maybe some sort of Control Lock deck? I don't know if Handlock would run something like this. Super anti-Control deck card though, would really mess people up I think if they over-invest in a Control match-up. I guess Renolock might enjoy it.

Oh, and hey, that's the second 10-mana spell right? Pyroblast being the only other one (not counting Rafaam's summonable spells)?

I like it. Only issue is that such a card makes you more likely to hit fatigue really early in the match, or even mill your self if you use it.

RenoLocks may run it in addition to or in lieu of Twisting Nether. How often do you play Twisting Nether on turn 8? Probably not often. So instead of tap plus Twisting Nether on late turns, just play DOOM!.

Yeah, I see it as a replacement. Decent catch-up card, too. Kinda like an opposite-deathwing, in a way.

Edit: Also, I bet this is warlock's equivalent to the pally/priest/mage 'forbidden' card - it's an epic spell, so probably same 'slot' as the forbidden ones.

Yup, renolock. Good clear, and maybe a replacement or addition to twisting nether. Might even be better than tn in some cases like if you're trying to dig for another specific card like your reno and can't really use or have already used life tap.

I don't see how DOOM! is necessary. Warlock doesn't need help drawing cards, and there is a high chance to overdraw with DOOM!, while also pushing you into fatigue much faster. I think I'd rather just run Twisting Nether. Can't wait to see Reno discarded when DOOM! is played

Renolock is the worst.

The only thing I hate about Control Warrior is Justicar. I've lost 4 games to that card this weekend.

Love the idea behind "DOOM!"

This is basically better than twisting nether + tap, with the disadvantage being that you can't play it sooner than turn 10 (or 9 w/ coin). Really depends on when you'd need a full board clear.

Reno isn't really a full turtle control deck, though. It is reckless and throws outrageous shit on the board with complete abandon and carelessness for the consequences, because it is capable of such huge swings that it can get away with it.

It also has the disadvantage that you could massively overdraw. When I play Renolock, I usually have a mostly full hand. If there are 4-5 minions on board, in order to clear it I might have to discard several cards, and one of those might be Reno
