I have an LG C9.
Played through the intro. About a half hour past your first skill point.
Using Fidelity mode as advised by DF.
It is SHARP. The moss looks incredible.
My wife even commented on it passing by... which is usually an indication of "wow" impact. My sharpness setting is equivalent 0... but that does NOT mean the setting is 0. I looked this up before for my specific TV.
I encountered no bugs. Game is also doing a great job re-introducing me to the controls. The camera cuts in the initial cinematic are jarring.. simply because there are so many of them and there may be a duplicate frame on each cut. It's during a conversation. That being said - there is zero asset pop in ... like the cuts in an unreal engine game.
Very very VERY densely detailed open world. It's so much denser than any open world I've played that there's an adjustment. You're unsure that you are noticing everything you should notice initially. That alone makes it feel "next gen". I'd call anyone saying it is "cross gen" feeling in fidelity mode a bit hyperbolic.
Looking forward to more!!
I'm not going to play with performance mode for now... I'm happy with the initial decision of switching to fidelity before starting.
