Honestly, nothing. I don't participate in kickstarters but I'd be super excited if one were to happen for Shenmue III. I know there are plenty of people out there with deep pockets ready to throw their money at it for the greater good.

I believe my home is valued for $530,000 (Paid 450K some years ago). However I'm not sure how much I would get if I were to sell it or get a reverse mortgage or a loan based on the home's equity. If someone has some insight please let me know.

Depends on the tier levels. I'd like the game, but I'd be happy with a movie like the one that came with Shenmue 2 on Xbox.

Just make a low budget movie that tells the full story and I'd definitely buy that.

As much as people like to say that the NeoGAF community at large loves Shemnue, I've never really seen it that way. Most mentions of Shenmue are met with a "let it die." I don't entirely understand why people are so hostile towards any kind of game. Maybe at the companies or what a game may represent in the industry, but there's nothing inherently wrong with Shenmue. I guess some see things differently, though, and I wish some would explain themselves rather than throw out "I hate this thing" comments. Anyway, my point being that Shenmue seems to draw out a large part of the vocal community, as does Kickstarter. I don't necessarily believe that a 3 page thread on NeoGAF holds much weight in the grand scheme of things.

Hopefully one day we will see how things pan out. Regardless of feelings, I'd say it'd at least be interesting to see where it all ends up.

All the hypothetical situations have been discussed to death, it's really a case of accepting the situation as is.

Game alone, maximum maybe £200, maybe more depending on my bank balance. If I could be a NPC, or have one named after me, or some other cool perk that immortalised me in my most wanted game ever then I would defo do that.

As someone who gets incredibly tired of hearing the same memes and lame jokes every single day, I can understand it. There are people who enter Shenmue threads specifically to talk crap, though, and that's just ridiculous.

I find funny the negativity posts coming from people who never played a Shenmue game before. This is obviously for Shenmue fans only to back this project. Makes no sense for someone coming here and say "Nothing, I don't care for Shenmue."

I never supported a Kickstarter project before, but if Shenmue III comes up, I'll most certainly help it.
