I broke up with my girlfriend...

I think he should be glad they haven't slept together, cause that could equate to common law which would be an even bigger mess.

If she hasn't paid rent in 2 months and they haven't slept together, what's to prove that the verbal lease hadn't expired and she was living with him at his allowance, and now he wants her out, can't he kick her out immediately? Especially since he could then claim the verbal lease was to the new year.

That's not how tenancy laws work. Once a person establishes a primary residence, there are steps you have to take to kick them out.

Improperly kicking some out of their residence can lead to significant legal exposure.

I would disable the heat, electricity and water when I went to work, this depends on your comfort level with these type of systems though.

Maybe the OP is some obsessive weirdo, he was never in a relationship with her, despite trying hard. Girl needed a place to stay and he takes her in, hoping she'll fall for the white knight? One day he realizes she's screwing half the planet and asks if he can get in on it, but she denies him. Scared to lose his one chance with her, he keeps her around hoping she'll fall for him. This scenario sounds more believable than what the OP has presented. This has to be fake. Please be fake. I don't want to believe someone can be this big of a door mat.

I know a married couple who broke up/separated several years ago but still live with each other. The girl brings other guys over, he isn't seeing anyone else. They're still married. That must be the most awkward situation.
 
OP I don't care what the law is. Get her the fuck out now. I 'll come do it myself if you want, believe me it will be legal and effective.
