I think he should be glad they haven't slept together, cause that could equate to common law which would be an even bigger mess.
If she hasn't paid rent in 2 months and they haven't slept together, what's to prove that the verbal lease hadn't expired and she was living with him at his allowance, and now he wants her out, can't he kick her out immediately? Especially since he could then claim the verbal lease was to the new year.
