I think gamers are a very united group of people

What time is it?

Gamers are wise, their enemies think they’re nerds but I see strength, and wisdom.
Jesus completed life with 100% success rate. Life is created by developers, and the developer is God
I think for gamers it's much easier to understand this, this thought have been in my mind so much...

Events like E3 used to unite us, especially (and ironically) when they weren't meant for us. Now E3 is dead, and what's left has become so sanitized and corporatized for a broad audience that it's not particularly interesting to engage with, like many AAA games themselves, actually. Even the console wars these days seem a little flat and tired, with only a few passionate fanboys really carrying the torch of hatred for their bitter rivals. Lol.

But there are still a ton of great games coming out, and new hardware leaks and discussion is always exciting. Our passion for these things, even our arguments about them, unites us. So, in that sense, sure OP. And it's nice to have a topic that looks on the bright side, even if there isn't much to discuss.

Gaming is such a thing we want for it to continue forever. When this world is over I really would like to see for this to continue in some form, or whatever God does next...all these events in the world, it seems so close to the end...
Gamers...I remember reading it somewhere that gamers are such fans, even going to the developer studios asking for new info on upcoming games

Not really, maybe in a way like any other group that has something in common, that are passionate about something.

It's nothing special or different than say a team sport, -- you've never known true passion until you are in a group like this -- yeah, all is good, until the competition starts, then all curses know to mankind descend upon you.
Different tastes, education, mental status, etc., nobody is able to be objective and separate or/and handle their feelings.

From my perspective gamers are much more different group from all other fan-bases. I don't know that much about younger gamers, maybe the landscape is pretty different now

It's all a bit boring now, gaming has become almost completely soulless, corporate and devoid of interesting ideas and innovation, and I know we've said this same thing even 10-15 years ago but somehow publishers always find a way to make things worse.

You said it, your perspective, and you are right on just that, it's nothing wrong with, just as mine is that one, don't take it the wrong way, I'm not being condescending, it's just my opinion after seeing and interacting with different kinds of groups ad people.

For me in terms of pure passion I've never experienced more than in a team sport group who either play or support it, especially the fans, those are just insane , and they are very united, more than anyone realizes, but as long as everyone agrees for at the most important aspects, if not, chaos, just like everything.

I think it always have been this way. The way we are passionate about games. The way we anticipate new releases, especially in the early days. The hype. E3 times... Gaming is blessed by God.

What do you think?

The way we hate everything about gaming. The way we wish the worst for those who make games. The way, no matter what year it is, games were at there best when we were young teens and absolute garbage now.

Yes, all this fucking demonic world with all it's greed and mind control, and woke cultures and such are terrorizing gaming.
I'm thankful for games like Doom Eternal, and indie games, those have soul

God bless the "chuds and the wokes"

...and the rest of the less vocal majority of gamers in between.

And lord have mercy, even on the poor ol' console warriors and PCMR-warriors out there.

Praise be!

This makes me think, and remember about how all this fucking demonic world with all the woke cultures and so on are ruining and terrorizing gaming, and gamers

I sure see someone being mind controlled

Some definitely are united in hating on games, wanting them to flop, having publishers and studios shut down, eager for people to loose their jobs and to never be hired again, and just overall chronic cynicism.

I know that most gamers aren't like that, but it sure seems like it is the vocal majority. And it is so sad.

I do not think so. In fact, it's hard for me to think of any other group that bickers with each other as much as gamers do.
No, not in a way of like arguing with each other, but collective hype around gaming.
(I'm not that informed about younger generation of gamers)

Probably demons are holding your Being. This world is evil and hides it very good. I can easily see gaming being a light shining in this dark world, look how they are attacking video game industry! All the joy through the years what games have given to us, all the hype, joy, talking about games. I'm playing through Doom Eternal DLC (almost done) and that game has soul, then switching to Ori, and to Elden Ring, Blue Dragon - so much joy to take
