They failed to implement good framerate features, not much hope for DualSense features.
But yeah would have been cool to see what they would have done.

I'd rather have good build quality, long battery life and durability than a shitty speaker and triggers that are just more annoying to press.Xbox consoles will have similar features in future and then it will be the greatest thing ever. Those threads are coming lol
Its easy to see right through the BS warring of most here in this thread haha.
Or, or, hear me out, do all of the above. Hell throw a decent framerate in there while there at it.Give us 3D audio instead.
I was merely pointing out that your logic was flawed. I don't care what you actually think about the DualSense features..No, I just think its a waste of time. Resolving around a gimmick won't matter, people gonna play the game for its own merits, regardless of a function of a controller.
If you guys got a problem just send directly complains to them. No need to get touchy just because I think it's a waste of time, in no point I'm here trying to prove or disprove anything. Players gonna survive without it.
I do not know how many have disabled haptics and dynamic triggers, or just haptics, or just triggers… or neither… so I am not generalisingYeah mate a lot of people, just like a lot of people also like it. Unless you think it's just me and like 3 other people in the world who have disabled the haptics?![]()
The amount of people in this thread that consider the Dualsense tech to be no more than a gimmick is more disappointing than its exclusion in ER. Opinions are opinions but man, I had no idea so many people didn't care for it. Huh.
Demon's Souls had fantastic implementation of Dual Sense. They failed to implement good framerate features, not much hope for DualSense features.
But yeah would have been cool to see what they would have done.
Judging by the game performance… oof.Gimmicks. They chose to focus on actual game development instead of that nonsense.
Sad if true, it's a game changer. In From software's defense, I don't expect devs to bother for multiplats. We'll see heavy Third party implementation when MS adds it to their controller, their version could be even more impressive.Half of the people calling it a gimmick probably never experienced using a dualsense controller.
I would bet it's more people who enjoy the Dualsense features then not.

Believe that if you want, it's not like it's impossible to try it after a year the console has been out.Half of the people calling it a gimmick probably never experienced using a dualsense controller.

Rumble is a feature every platform supports. PC, console, even handhelds and soon VR.Im guessing you turn vibration off your controller right?
everyone wins!!!!!!!!Let's make a deal, Dualsense lovers. I'll support your version of rumble being the future, if you support gyro aiming being the future too.
Fuck gyro, no normal person can aim that way. Haptics are nice, but not a game changer.everyone wins!!!!!!!!
except the triggered xbox fanboys who can't accept the normal boring rumble their controller has (and also can't accept the lack of gyro their controller has)
Only VR is a literal game changer. All other things are game enhancers. Proper haptics are certainly the biggest and most impressive, no going back from here.Fuck gyro, no normal person can aim that way. Haptics are nice, but not a game changer.
damn, i guess a lot of people aren't normal people thenFuck gyro, no normal person can aim that way. Haptics are nice, but not a game changer.
It's more third party games that support dualsense features then don't . That's why their absence from Elden ring is notableIn threads like this it's hard to tell if certain posters realize Elden Ring isn't a PS5 exclusive. demon souls was exclusive (and made by a different developer) so of course it incorporated the feature, but why would they spend that time on features that wouldn't work on pc or xbox? (or ps4, for that matter?)
Like the obnoxious input buffering. They have more important technical issues to overcome rather than controller gimmicks
I'd rather have good build quality, long battery life and durability than a shitty speaker and triggers that are just more annoying to press.
They can go haptic feedback themselves with this stuff honestly.
I'm in the half that own a PS5 and I think it's a gimmick. The only game that really highlights them is Astrobot, which is a pack in game that is basically all about showing off your shiny new console. Other than that they get turned off or turned down.Half of the people calling it a gimmick probably never experienced using a dualsense controller.
I would bet it's more people who enjoy the Dualsense features then not.
It is extremely bizzare to see, isn't?Lol ppl consider this a game changer? Game changer is Gsync, dlss, ultrawide, 244hz, VR....it's a nice feature but one that most ppl stop noticing after playing half way through a game.
