People had issue with difficulty spikes it had.

Personally I loved those, there was something oddly satisfying about mowing down 50 Nazis in courtroom that prosecuted you. It was hard but manageable.

I think that the weird stealth angle they went for where you had to take down commanders really didn't work in this game. Some of the maps weren't too hot either. And I didn't even mind the story, but the game was just a chore at parts. Some of it was really good though!

Will be a generation defining game with incredible visuals, detail and immersion.

Thanks to SBI's involvement it will also cater to the elusive "modern audience". We know reviewers love that.

I'm starting to like this sketchy eneba site. I just got a 1 month GP ultimate code for under $7. It's non-stackable and only activates if you don't have a current sub to GamePass.
The trial I used for CoD just ended the other day.

Guess is the same as before. Somewhere between 78-84. I think closer to 84 is more likely than it being closer to 78.

I think the game will get good scores for presentation, cinematics, production values, and the feel of "Indiana Jones" but will have points deducted on the gameplay front.

One review was put out early already, sounds promising.

They mentioned the performance and it appears not as demanding as the revealed specs suggests:

A note on performance

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has received some recent negative attention for having relatively beefy system requirements, including calling for GPUs that have some form of real-time ray-tracing acceleration. We tested the game on a system with an Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti and an Intel i7-8700K CPU with 32 GB of RAM, which puts it roughly between the "minimum" and "recommended" specs suggested by the publisher.

Despite this, we were able to run the game at 1440p resolution and "High" graphical settings at a steady 60 fps throughout. The game did occasionally suffer some heavy frame stuttering when loading new scenes, and far-off background elements had a tendency to noticeably "pop in" when running, but otherwise, we had few complaints about the graphical performance.

Oof, Atlas Fallen is cheap now because it's in this month's Humble Bundle. You could have gotten that for 12$ and 7 other games or so :p.

Next time!

I saw it with the humble sub. I'm good there. It was also on sale on Steam for $10. But $7 was good enough for me. It's actually a game I planned to buy when I saw it around $20.

This game would be incredibly more interesting to me if it was in 3rd person. And I'm ignoring some cringy video they play recently.

The final trailer looked pretty bad. The fighting AI looked like shit. Swinging at you while you were 2 meters away in what looked like slow motion. I'm thinking a 7/10 max.
I'm more concerned about the female sidekick that seems to outsmart and save Indie's ass in the trailer already, also she looks "uglyfied" like Ves in SW Outlaws and other recent DEI games...
Really hope it's not as bad as people think it will be.

I do think Indy will be kind of a goof and need her to save him over and over. Hopefully that’s the extent of it.

Quick side note, but are they just not advertising this game? I’ve yet to see any ads for it on YouTube or any websites I visit.

Well that's already too much imho, Indy in the old Trilogy is not having it :D The game is probably more in line with the Disney girlboss Dial of Dysentery.

Regular people: “I hope the game plays great”

You: “I sure hope the female sidechick is completely useless”

🙄

Having it release so close to the review embargo isn't always a red flag, but I still think this game sits in that 80-84 range.

Having it release so close to the review embargo isn't always a red flag, but not putting out a "day-one" patch on PC to implement path tracing until 4 days after the release date is just amateur hour that smacks of this game being rushed.
Will it be ready for the official launch? Early Access isn’t technically the release date.

The only industry in which you pay more for a lesser experience
I thought people were saying RT is on and locked on without being to turn it off?. This doesnt sound like it, and i'm glad.

Care to explain whats so funny Chorizo?. Being able to turn off RT is a good thing for me.
