I lost weight eating nothing but twinkies. It really is calories in less less than calories burned.

Great food choices though!

Switch Back 9

a lot of my threads involve me fucking up somehow. Perhaps I'm a moron?
I eat healthy meals but bags of cookies and candy in-between and I've never been able to Crack 170. I don't understand diet and biology.

Seems like you were doing a low carb and sugar diet. Be careful, I've done those a couple of times and they're great for quick weight loss, but they're tough to maintain and if you get back to eating as you normally do you'll gain the weight back again.

I would highly suggest to introduce some exercise

Buy tape worm eggs. Then you can lose twice that in the same amount of time while spending your time grinding gear in destiny.

Well Guys it's actually very cheap and I think it's healthy diet.
granted if you live in the USA.

Anyhow I just wished someone had done this for me a while back,
so hopefully someone check out the products that I posted :)

I don't know why people think cutting carbs completely from their diet is OK - did people not learn about the food pyramid in grade school or did they just entirely forget the bottom(and biggest) part??

People just don't want to, can't do so or are unwilling to do it. Low carb, zero carb, keto is a great option for obese and overweight people to lose weight. Cutting out starchy carbs, breads, pastas, and utilizing portion control and increasing vegetables, healthy fats and proteins into their diet. Good job though, keep it up.

Diet is by far the most important aspect in losing weight. There is always so much pushback against the simple fact that people overeat and take in more calories than their body can burn off, especially getting filled up on high carb foods.

You're also losing weight because you're eating far less calories than before right?

That food pyramid doesn't exist anymore because it was wrong.

You really don't need carbs at all.

OP is on the slow-carb diet. For better results, set aside one day (I like Saturday, or Faturday) as a cheat day where you consume anything you want (within reason)

Yes I mean, I feel fuller right away when I eat for example a can of tuna ( it's only 100 calories) but it fills you up faster :) combined that with a 300 calorie oat meal and some 200 calorie fruit and veggies and you can go for a whole day not really feeling hungry.

Cool thing is I think you train your body to eat less (or my stomach shrink?)

Not that i dont agree with you to some extent but the food pyramid is bullshit

I don't think I've seen one dietician that has ever said that carbs are necessary for a healthy diet. What you need is the fiber, which you can gain from a plethora of other sources. If you cut out carbs, including sugars, it isn't a big deal. The problem is when people stop the diet and return to their normal eating style, and gain the weight again because the sedentary lifestyle may have worked with one eating style, but won't work with the other.

It definitely still exists..

I love the irony in Americans telling you don't need carbs at all, when Europeans carb load all day every day and are much thinner and healthier.

The no carb diet is not sustainable and not healthy long term. It should only be used if you are interested in losing weight short term (pre beach season, etc) or you are too lazy to exercise

Diet soda, huh? I usually hear people get results just by switching to it

Well oddly enough that's how I got hooked in the first place and yes, it did work for me for a little while. That was like 8 years ago I believe. I was on a diet and to cut back on calories I switched from regular soda to diet. Got on weight watchers and dropped from 230 to 190. Since then though I went off my diet yet the diet soda drinking continued as I had gotten addicted (I've been off it 3 months and I still think about it all the time). I went back to my old weight but since I've stopped the soda I'm down to around 222 .. for now anyway.

This my friend is dangerous,
I actually have done this a year ago, and soon your taste buds start craving pizza, bread pasta and the whole cycles begins, it's already hard to control yourself so I would not recommend this to anyone.
