Hows it run? Smooth framerate for the most part? Lots of loading?
The loading is pretty bad, it's only when you go inside the station or a level though. The city itself is seamless. Even with the load times it's still worth a play.

From what Ive read and seen I get major Simpsons Hit and Run vibes from it and that I have no problem with.
I just went out and bought The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3! Can't wait to give them a go.
I began my Wii U library a little over a month ago and I'm loving the way it's looking. So excited to see how it looks come the end of 2014!
(Not a bad line-up for the console after only one year, eh?)

So, I need to play Skyward Sword, I imagine I can't play that without a Wiimote, right?
How does it look on the WiiU?
Wii Remote Plus and a Nunchuk to get started. If you want multiplayer you'll need a few Wii Remotes (nunchuks are less used). The Gamepad is a pretty good catch-all but a Classic or Pro controller is sometimes nice to have to reduce weight for longer sessions.
Wait, are Wii games upscaling on the Wii U now?
Are there any good deals on Wii U?
Literally have a Wii U bundle in a cart on BB.com waiting for purchase and this is the lineup I am considering(replacing Wii U party with Lego City).
Can't quite pull the trigger yet though...
It looks a bit better, but still jaggie (sadly).
And yes, you need a WiiMotion+.
...I bought a Wii U today.
I'll share my NNID later, I'm still figuring stuff out on this wonderful machine!
Anyone considering Lego City should grab it now. Its print run has ended and GameStop can't even order it for you as new anymore, just preowned.
I have one more question. How heavy is the box that contains the console. I may have to carry it on a bus or two tomorrow. I am also not that strong.

Gah, I just played 3DW for the first time in a store, and it did nothing to alleviate my hunger for a Wii U... W101 did just the trick though, but I read that the demo is not representative at all. It's not a matter of money, just free time (and games I own and want to play on other platforms), but I'm still telling myself it'll come down some more given the current sales...
That what I meantAs in the game is actually 100 times better than the demo. The demo throws you in one level without story, without indications and it might be overwhelming for a lot of people, while the game introduces better all the things.
That what I meantRight now, my Wii U want-list looks like this:
SM3DW
WWHD (never played)
DKCTF
MK8
NSMBU/NSLU
TW101
ZombiU
Pikmin 3
Rayman Legends (PS3 version still shrinkwrapped)

That's one way of looking at it! It will also give me time to see what games I really want, since they won't really drop in price as they're mostly first party games.Looking at this list, the more you buy it later (when DKCTF or MK8 hit) the bigger the backlog you will have.
Thank you. Now I just need to figure out the second game I will buy with the console.Oh, man. The Wii U is so tiny. The console itself isn't much bigger than the Gamepad. It's like the size of a huge book or a box of chocolates or something.
Seriously, no worries there for you.
Was looking at my november log, most of my playtime came from 3rd party

You could have bought better versions of those games on an older, cheaper system.
It happens that for some people having a much better UI that allows for a much more fluid gameplay transition between menus and the main game is a bit more important than being technically superior. You could have bought better versions of those games on an older, cheaper system.

The sad part is that the market has already decided that you are wrong and that the Gamepad sucks. The chances of you not having to go back to a regular controller eventually are basically nonexistent.Guys, I really love the Wii U gamepad. I don't ever want to go back to another controller.

In other words, there're still a few players here.
I received Sonic Lost World for my birthday but first impressions are not good. The controls are frustrating to get used to and sometimes I don't really feel in control when I'm being blasted through half the level after hitting bumpers.
Plus, I don't know if it's just me but when you get hit with about 100 rings you only ever seem to be able to get a handful back. Level select map? No, confused about all the dead space/ blank hexagons. What's the point?
Hopefully my brother has got me Mario 3D World!
Awesome!I just went out and bought The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3! Can't wait to give them a go.

I love the Gamepad so goddamn much, but it has failed to grab anyone's attention. The few of us who appreciate its awesomeness are in for disappointment in the next few years. Oh well, best we prepare ourselves now, cuz we're never getting another controller like this ever.
I dunno about ME3 or Ghosts, but the U version of Black Flag is apparently better than the 360/PS3 versions.

Of course I was talking for the "better" adjective.i dunno great UI doesnt trump the literal 2 bucks i paid for Deus Ex HR Director's Cut
I got NSMBU/LU and Tekken! I'm a broke college student, though. I got a $25 gift card with it, but I'm waiting on a good sale to use it on another game.NIce, Welcome to the club. What games did you get?
