As a nurse or a tech no one has ever commented on my facial hair. Actually NVM, i've had several patients and nurses compliment on how well it looks. But no negative comments.
We're not supposed to have a beard to wear certain masks, but i've worn the masks with a beard, and I'm not dead!

I had to scroll for a while on my feed to find these. I have just now realized 95% of my tumblr is just completely naked guys.
So I've been dating this guy for the past couple of weeks and he's pretty sweet and nice. He has continually asked me if I want to be his boyfriend almost every day for the past week. I think it's still too soon, and I'm not really sure if I want to have a boyfriend right now for various reasons, it's a bit inconvenient right now in my opinion. If you're not over someone else and this girl might be hoping for something more than just a hookup, then I think you need to explain that you're not emotionally available at the moment (this is based on it sounding to me like you're not ready for something new).
If she's just looking for a hookup, the answer is going to come from your own self-awareness to decide if you can handle and enjoy physical intimacy with someone you previously had an attachment to.

So we had this negotiation sort of thing where he would grab my butt and I would grab his crotch. So we did, and woah he's well endowed (thick). It's really heavy too. Then he started kissing me and wanted to go at it when all of a sudden there were noises outside the house and we thought it was his friend who was about to arrive. It was something else instead, and I said to him "you're too big, I am sorry but nope..." lol. So nothing happened except for that butt-dick grab exchange, well at least up to the that point nothing had happened, and I was laughing on my way home. No it's fine. I didn't want to throw names in there. HS girl said she didn't want to rush in to anything but it's not good for me to stay at my house always and not do anything at all so she wants to hang out because she misses me and if something happens it does and if not oh well..
Just seems she's expecting something I'm not sure I can give her after coming out of an 8 year relationship only two months ago. (unless I'm reading it wrong)

I saw The Good Dinosaur as planned.
Actual thoughts: It was kind of as I expected, liking it as much as Brave (walking away thinking meh) or perhaps even less. I think its Rotten Tomatoes ranking among the released Pixar films is probably correct (just below their other "okay" films and only above Cars 2).
On the bright side, it gives me hope that I might be talented enough to work at Pixar one day. Too bad that's not saying much...

I'm sounding a bit rough and gruff in the voice department these days, but the added rasp isn't necessarily a bad thing. I haven't done an official new YouTube recording (I plan to have a christmas one up in the next week or so though), but i did upload a video of me singing a Frank Sinatra song live

I've actually had this song stuck in my head recently and keep singing little pieces of it in the car and shower ever since Lady Gaga did her performance for the Frank Sinatra special. I wish the audio quality on your video was better, as it sounds like you were doing a fantastic job with it. I didn't expect those rich deep notes at the beginning! Love the way you balance your vibrato with vibrato-free (no idea what the term is) notes. Just a great mix. Some standout moments: the grit at 0:34 with the "any-"; 1:21-1:33 with the held notes, the tone and musicality of "town" that transitions into the new swing of the song, the little pop-up at the end of "blues," and the entire phrase that follows including the note jump during "melting"; and the natural emergence of the vibrato on "York" during 2:10-2:13. Let me know when you've done some musical theatre, as I'd love to hear your voice in some showtunes. Also, nice suit!

Thanks! Yeah, the transition is scary (getting ready to leave an academic environment and jump into professional one). My stress has been manifesting in a lot of ways, so my body and brain are definitely telling me that they're not happy with this period of my life. Oh well, such is life. I'm doing my best to relax and remind myself that things will work out thanks to a great support network.
To be honest, the DS Lite might still be the best looking handheld Nintendo has made in recent years. Certainly better than OG 3DS and I'd argue better than 3DS XL. n3DS might put up a fight, though.

So random. It reminded me of the weird honey sequence in the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie. It was also perhaps the best sequence in the film (inventive, didn't overstay its welcome, etc.) and felt like one of the few times where I could sense the fun the creative team was having.

So, an update with my friend..
We talked seriously last night, because I asked him if his "nothing is going to happen between us" rule still stands. He said it stands for now, but he really doesn't want to do relationships at the moment, which I already knew anyway. But, I'm not completely ruled out like before, and when I admitted that I wouldn't give up on trying to show him what a proper relationship is like, he said that was totally fine. At the moment, he just wants to try Roleplaying with more people because he feels free, which is fine with me, as I'm the only one he said he'd want to meet up with and actually do IRL stuff with.
So yeah, my suspicions were pretty much correct. He doesn't want anything right now, but I'm not totally ruled out like I thought. I'm happy enough with this atm. I think he'll change his mind past christmas, because he really is more a one-person type of guy, but he's having fun for a bit after that breakup.

Umm by anxiety i mean just the general anxiety of missing him/him being way. it gets really difficult sometimes for me. I don't know if having anxiety disorder is contributing to that, but I feel like it probably might be X_X haha..
