Haha that wasn't a practice show! that was at a casino :p But I've sung that song for years, so I'm definitely comfortable with it :). Thank you for the kind words!

Haha it is a play on words to Xanadu, but it's not related at all, plot-wise!

You're too kind! But my voice was definitely not as experienced in 2011!! I wish it was!! LOL!

Umm by anxiety i mean just the general anxiety of missing him/him being way. it gets really difficult sometimes for me. I don't know if having anxiety disorder is contributing to that, but I feel like it probably might be X_X haha..

Haha great minds think alike! The SP was so nice looking!!!

Ah, I meant the opposite: "shows" as a verb, as in, "it's very clear you've practiced a lot!" :)

About the anxiety: I see. It seems like you're quite attached to him. I see how that would be difficult, but hopefully you can spend as much time as possible with him when he gets back.

I think it's great, but honestly I'm attached to the idea of having my own biological kids.
Aww, raising a family seems like a beautiful thing.

Not for me, given all psychological issues to solve first i rather just try to help people in other ways, i dread to think how i could not provide a child a proper life, and then if he turns out unhappy i just failed him, dreadful. Children get the burden of worse flaws of their parents and im not good material.

not like i can get married either ;P
But its going to be interesting seeing how better generations adapt. :)

I don't care about biological kids or the race of my kid at all if I have one tbh. I think I'd prefer adoption but would cave in if my future husband wanted biological. I don't get the need for biological and it seems super irrelevant to being family. I don't know anyone adopted personally but it just seems like I don't think about dna at all when I think of family unless I'm literally just considering the process but I don't think "oh that's why I care about these people and was raised with them." Nah, for me it just seems like if you decide as a couple to be the parents, you're family through and through and share an experience that sounds about the same as any other baby or kid would share about being raised

So for me, adoption seems lovely for giving an already on the way or young kid the family they deserve, but I guess I acknowledge I don't get why other gays would need the dna factor via surrogate so I wouldn't fight someone who felt that need on the subject knowing that there might be some element of it I just don't feel

So I decided I'm going to do this Pizza thing because I gotta get on with my life even if I'm still friends with Canada and I can't just hope she decides that I'm worth the distance.

ohh!!! i'm so sorry!! i misunderstood :(

yeah.. i do like him. he really misses me too, it seems. it just sucks when it happens earlier on in a relationship.. i think we both feel vulnerable as a result. we'll get through it X_X

My parents threw a graduation party for me yesterday and so many distant relatives came. It was great. Here are the highlights:

Uncle: Ya'll better grab some Hee-jawbs because Obama is turning this country into sharia law.

Great Aunt: Obama has filled the white house with muslims, and Hillary Clinton is just going to do the same thing.

Great Uncle:
I might not vote for Donald Trump but at least he is speaking the truth!

(Other) Great Aunt:
We need Ted Cruz to save this nation!

Great Aunt:
Hey, Veeboy, you've been quiet about all this. You know its been a while since I've seen you at church. You're not converting to a muslim on us are you? (Editor's Note: this was said sincerely).

Great Aunt: I haven't seen you with a girlfriend in a while (Editor's Note: I have never had a girlfriend). Why is that? You're such a handsome young man (Editor's Note: no i am not) you ought ta have a fiance by now. You know your cousin got married just a few months ago.

Me:

Other than that it was fun. Just not a fan of some of my extended family.

Oh boy. I feel for you Veeboy. I wouldn't have snapped, but I would have had a very hard time not entering my Passive-Agressive + Sarcastic mode in the same situation.

Ugh, it sucks that your extended family feels that way. I empathize.

Congrats on your graduation though. :)

If you remember, I was talking last week about a guy I had a crush on who I managed to talk to at the last social, and that I added him on facebook and we talked all day, and I asked him if he wanted to go for a coffee/drink some time and he said he couldn't...

welll, i was talking to my gay friend at work, and I was thinking of messaging him today just to say hi and to keep me in his mind you know? and he told me to just not be so worried and just go for it, it's worth a shot.

So I messaged him earlier today, and we started talking, and I must admit, I was starting to panic thinking that I sounded really incredibly boring talking about work and christmas and all that, and I made one last ditch effort to keep the conversation going, asking "do you have any new years resolutions?"

He started talking about needing to get back to the gym, which led to us talking about gyms, which led to us talking about gym showers, and I said that I don't mind showing off a bit, and he was surprised and started getting a bit flirty with winky faces and stuff, and said that I should show off for the social group sometime.

After deliberating for a few minutes I replied back with "I probably wouldn't be allowed to do that"... "but I wouldn't mind showing off for you ;) :)"

He seemed a bit taken aback at first and said it sounds interesting, I mentioned that I was trying to be more confident and that I was sorry if I was being too forward, and he replied back with:
"Haha, maybe I like the idea of you showing off"
and when I mentioned that I made some Xtube videos he seemed very interested.

SOOO, all those glances across the table at the social WERE flirty, he IS attracted to me, praise be to yevon. and I would say that this date is very likely to happen now.

I finally had some confidence for once and it paid off. FUCK YEAH.

I had forgotten that the guy you mentioned was gay so there was no need to worry about whether he was straight or nonstraight and so on... So that's good, at least you knew beforehand.

Congrats and best of luck!

Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!

It amazes me that razmos can be shy yet he's quite the exhibitionist :p

I watched the prequel trilogy again and I think there's a bit of unexpected kid humor but that kind of humor sold toys and isn't inherently trash since people eat it up in Nintendo games even if it's weaker than the original films' subtleties.

Why did that last one sound like she was trying to hook you up with your cousin?

Bleh, I tried to come out to my father today but failed. He liked my earrings though, so that's a plus.

In other news, I finally get to meet my guy on the 2nd of Jan. Sooooooo Excited!!!!!

Thanks for the grats! At least the worst is over for now. Politics usually don't show up at Christmastime.

Congrats on the successful flirting. I would not have that kind of confidence, haha.

I don't think she was. I hope she wasn't.

I do live in the south though, so its possible.

It'll happen in time. So, no need to linger on the coming out just focus on the future.
