List of PS5 Pro enhanced games

Good times when we actually had news games to play instead of remake and remasters.

I don't see a problem with your favorite games made even better.
Don't like, don't buy.
There are many out there who want the best experience possible.

Yup it's a steal my Pro backlog is growing I'm on the lookout for more sales I'll post whatever I find. I've turned into a thrifty gamer overnight after my Pro bundle purchase 🤪

I've put my entire backlog on my PS wishlist. Next I'll put the games I own into a "folder" and order it by which games I will play first. Which this was easier to do.

I wonder when we’ll get a better idea of how much of a benefit boost mode will be. I suppose we can assume all unlocked games will benefit, but I’d be interested to see a DF piece on this.

That was true at lauch, but luckily they fixed it in a relatively quick manner by removing the VRS entirely.

Game looks and runs great in Performance Mode, had an literal blast for four consecutive playthroughs:
Are they even looking at their games? This should never have passed QC. And performance is exactly the same after turning VRS off.

Hey guys let's just use this fancy new features for the sake of it! Who cares about results and benefits. We'll just let the players beta test the console versions!

I hope Silent Hill 2 gets a patch. I plan to play it but not until it supports the Pro.

Edit: Oh, it seems there probably is a patch coming. Just waiting on an announcement.

I really hope so. If we can get quality settings at 60 that would be amazing. Im only playing SH2 in quality, because performance mode looks totally different in many areas regarding the atmosphere, but i really hate the input lag and how sluggish it feels

Oh boy...We eatin good in a few weeks!

I wish I hadn't pretty much done every thing in that game already so I'd have a good reason to revisit it. If I did, I guess I could do it on a harder difficulty, but I literally 100% the game on my playthrough.

Super excited. My Xbox unfortunately will be only for gamepass games and timed exclusive ones. What a shame. Was my main console this generation so far.
If you're referring to 3rd party timed exclusives, I don't think there will be any 3rd party timed exclusives on Xbox going forward.

Well the more devs are occupied with making the games you already played better, the less they can make new things you might have also liked.
In most cases, remasters are not done in-house.
Blooper made Silent Hill 2, not Konami.

Also put into consideration that maybe they WANT to improve an old game.
Like how Capcom wanted to make re4 even better.
Most large companies have multiple teams making games simultaneously.

I meant the part where the game is pro enhanced right now? Do we know of another title that is currently enhanced? And why aren't they outlining the final enhancements?
There are a ton of pro enhanced games already. Any game with the label on PSN is pro enhanced already.

We are excited to see how Dragon Age: The Veilguard will lean into the power that PS5 Pro unlocks for players. Whether you love deep progression, strategic combat, or diving into the lore of Dragon Age, you will immediately notice the improved experience with PS5 Pro. The game’s Fidelity and Performance modes will both see improvements on the hardware, including improved resolution in 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance modes. Additionally, there will be various improved visual settings across 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance mode.

The team at BioWare is proud of how immersed players will be when they enter the beautiful world of Thedas, with upgraded image quality thanks to Sony’s new AI-based upscaler, PSSR. We’ve enabled Raytraced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) in the 60FPS Performance mode, which previously was only available on the base PlayStation 5 with 30FPS Fidelity mode.

— Maciej Kurowski, BioWare Studio Technical Director

Gonna see how the base ps5 perf mode looks like but im most likely gonna wait a week for the pro before i start this

Can't remember a single issue, but would surely still welcome Pro support.
VRS was/is such shit looking tech on a 2D flat screen. And I remember the most ardent greenbloods pushed it like a victory early on in this gen's console wars FUD pretending one included it over the other.

Take that crap Vaseline Rate Shading and get rid of it outside of eye tracking VR applications. It does not do well on a 2D screen.

Sony has a better approach. Instead of spending rendering (well yeah VRS is not free) at reducing the fidelity, why not spend rendering time at increasing fidelity on the areas you are looking at?

Man that game looks good. Is it PRO enhanced?

Final Fantasy 16, Black Myth: Wukong, and Cyberpunk 2077 need to be on that Pro-enhanced list. All three of these games will benefit immensely - especially the first two - from the improved specs. Heck, I stopped on Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong because I wasn't satisfied with the performance mode.
That and you got cheap shotted with the cut scene damage. Shithousery by the man. Still platinumed Wukong. Performance was not enough to stop that.

I will agree, no stutter would be amazing in this game
