Finally had time to finish my reread.
Manga is still as good as I remembered it. That whole last volume is just an amazing rollercoaster ride of emotions, was tearing up throughout it. To get the negatives out of the way, I could've done without the Sami fanservice and the backstory for the supernatural part wasn't that interesting or thoughtful, but all the characters, the action, the humor and twists are just immensely endearing and captivating. Surely won't be the last time I read through this series, it gives off so many fuzzy and warm feelings.

A comedic showdown inspired by Buddhist imagery of Bishamonten subduing an amanojaku. Being stepped on by Seija must be the most miserable, humiliating punishment a person can experience, and not enjoyable in any way whatsoever. Likewise for being harassed/stalked by her. As a Byakuren devotee, it's pretty shameful for Shou not to give her the reaction she was hoping for. Or something.

Something's a little off about this interpretation of Madoka, but I can't quite put my finger on what. Maybe watching this 'Ber-serk' anime would've helped. 0/10 for the distinct lack of Homura, though she's too capable to need his support anyway.

Kako just got promoted to guardian angel. Now I'm curious about whether she would've caught that bullet if her host hadn't jumped in front of it, or whether she would've let his escort get shot. Probably/hopefully the latter. Also challenging her to a ghost fight has now clearly established itself as being a bad idea.

Kind of a confusing non Japanese comic of sorts, but it hit the right notes for the typical supernatural BL series of sorts. The fox and hybrid relationship could go a bit faster, and I hope they do end up together though they do have the issue of the guy x guy thing and the step relatives thing, but also the discrimination of the wolves and foxes. Cute art otherwise, will keep reading.
