Well the anime adaptation has bad voice acting from the main character that even Japan is making fun of and bad pacing where 2 episodes in and we barely finished chapter 1 and have already have filler next week. If Black Clover's anime begins to have an impact it likely won't be for awhile at the rate its going.
Seven Seas picked up Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs under the Ghost Ship imprint. It's also getting a stage even at Jump Festa, so Batdan may be right about it being the next jump anime.
I think that means that the only non gag jump series over 50 chapters (or 30 now that HM is done) yet to be licensed is Hinomaru Zumou (and I guess Gintama too, though it was at one point). Someone pick up Hinomaru Zumou!
That seems like a big jump up in first week sales from KnY volume 7. Though maybe there is a days on sale difference.
Robot being the exact same is pretty funny. I guess starting pretty large has stunted it's growth (Kuroko fans dropping it offset new people picking it up).

It is funny to see Cross Account and the cancelled Hungry Marie outsell the latest Spring Weapon volume, which didn't even chart. I guess there is some reasoning behind it sticking around (not that I can figure it out).

I have faith that most of the BLack Clover fans are actually buying it digitally which arent recorded by oricon sales.
Hmm how often does a bad anime adaption boost a manga in sales. I can't remember an instance of that happening

Black Clover was a fun popcorn read but it doesn't really hold up to Promised Neverland which is just a plan exciting thriller.
Black Clover feels alot like Fairy Tail in a bad way, and I don't mean the superficial magic-guild kinda stuff. Just kinda feels like they have to keep throwing together random enemy groups without much setup and just have them be beat and then have to scramble together some over-the-top reason for the next enemy group to be even stronger to the extent that it's really hard to tell what exactly the endgame they're going for is.
.....endgame is Asta being magic king lol.

Well, I assume at least 1 chapter is going to be a chapter to show how everyone turned out in the future. Maybe the rest will just be gags and stuff. Which of course would be fine with me.
That is almost certain for the final chapter lol.
I also think, wedding chapters will be one, MC coming to his waifu for legit proposal can also be one.
New Year Gag will be one too of course lol.
Wow. Grand Blue charting so high, I'm surprised. It's nice to see a series from a Seinen magazine in the top 10.
Tokyo Ghoul is finished, yes. (14 volumes). However, its sequel, Tokyo Ghoul:re is still ongoing.

Just read about that, I was wondering why the date for TLR changed out of nowhere and why Yokai Girls was unavailable to even preorder lol. Nice to hear about Yuuna coming over too. I find it kind of amusing how meaningless demographic labels seem to be for manga nowadays considering three of the titles for their Ghost Ship imprint are considered shonen manga.

Series is selling close to a million per volume. Sells better than most Shonen Jump manga. Anime really did help.
I do wonder if with this lewd imprint whether they will finally license Nana to Kaoru and Black Label.

This chapter involves Iwami telling Nachi about her unrequited feelings for Yuu; meanwhile, he's trying to have a conversation about how she is wasting all of their toilet paper (...). For some insane reason he thinks she understands this and that her entire dialogue is talking about taking a shit and posting pictures of her poop on Twitter and he never clears this up. Somehow this ends up with her accepting his confession and he doesn't correct her because he apparently accidentally ended up with a cute girlfriend.

The boxing itself is ok as far as martial arts manga goes nothing ground breaking but it's competent. It's clearly not the focus of the manga like the romance is since for a manga based around it -sh, there's actually not that much of it.

I really enjoy the story and quirks for the characters of Black Clover. It's not entirely fresh, but it feels very fun. Sadly, the art feels a bit to stiff or crudely drawn for my taste. I expect I'll have nothing but praise for it as an anime.

OK, the first volume was fun and way more lewd than I expected.
I love the author and the artstyle, so I was ready for the usual stuff. I wasn't expecting sexual harassment and stark nakedness as part of fights, or masturbation scenes.
I guess I was being naive. I mean, when you have the evil organization called Blowjob, and the heroes fight under N.U.D.E. , something has to give.
Anyways, the atmosphere is quite laid back despite the good vs evil fights. There is some humor (or better, a lot of humor) and a little bit of darkness with what has been shown of the story and relationships.
I guess this is going to be another Nozomu Tamaki's work I'll love.

The anime is currently being panned 2 episodes in due to painful voice acting/direction and slowing down the pace of the manga. 3rd episode looks like it is already filler from the preview. I'm not expecting much from the anime cause so far it's a painful watch. Only read the first bit of the manga but I can't see it being worse than the anime.
