So does anyone have any insight into the situation with Pokemon Special/Adventures? The tankobon have been stalled out forever because the Black 2/White 2 section is still unfinished. But has there been any progress on that at all? And for that matter, have the later parts been getting finished, or is the problem only spiraling at this point? (Pretty much just been keeping up with the US releases of the full sized volumes, so I'm kind of out of touch with all that stuff, and don't want to dive in fully into researching it, for risk of spoilers).

Picked this up thanks to Aizo mentioning it (I think Droplet posted about it before too). First chapter was really nice, I'm digging the setup with the contrasting childhoods a lot and the art's great. I have to say that opening the first freaking page and seeing a girl cut her long hair was traumatic. Happened in Shirayuki too, these manga are trying to kill me.

So, here's a question: anyone got any recommendations for decent gender-bender sorts of series? Ever since I got into Ranma it's been a weak spot for me (and has resulted in me reading some sub-par crap over the years solely for the trope). Pretty much assume if it has an anime or a US release, no need to mention it (even relatively obscure old junk like Futaba-kun Change), but I'm sure there's stuff out there on the Japan-only side that I don't know about. (Hungry Marie has reminded me of this interest of mine). (Also, no porn stuff, please, guys).

Also, man, Tokyo Ghoul kind of goes to hell, huh? Like, I usually don't mind things steadily dipping into combat based territory, but this just doesn't do it gracefully in the least, IMO. There just doesn't really seem to be anything to the fights to make them at all interesting. In theory, the whole "oh, here's how all the types match up" thing was an attempt at that, I guess, but that doesn't work for me at all. (I'm admittedly way behind, in that I'm slightly lagging on the US release).

Shishunki Bitter Change is pretty interesting. It's about two students who switched bodies when they were kids. Instead of going to a wacky comedy it deals with the consequences of inhabiting a body that doesn't belong to them.
Dungeon Meshi 19-20 (Undine)
I went in being super upset and mad with Namari (and the old jerk) but it turned out alright in the end. They didn't actually clear out how much magic Marcille got back but it doesn't look like I need to be worried. Cooking the undine was really cool.
Also extremely happy that Senshi put the helmet back on. I'd say that's the best thing that happened in the two chapters.

Zelda Twilight Princess vol.1
That Zelda Twilight princess manga! It's sooooo good! The art style is amazing and fits super well with what you would expect from Twilight. They gave the perfect personnality to Link. Love the change they made to the story too. With Link having a dark past for exemple and on being in Ordon village for 2 years. The characters dynamic is great. Talo, Malo and Colin all act as you would think. But it's really dark....I mean REALLY dark. The sense of dread/malice is huge and the monsters are scary as hell.
And that's all for us to reach the first wolf transformation. Really excited to read more.

I trust you've already read TSF Monogatari and Dulce Report, which are classics, as well as their ongoing sequels.
For starters, I'd suggest Trans Venus. It has good art and while somewhat silly it's pretty vanilla in content. Another one is Conveni-N, which is pure brainless fun.
There's also Turned into a Breast Milk Fountain by a Beautiful Vampire, which is more of a light novel, and is a pretty good read, even if the erotic elements are rather tame. If light novels are fine with you, TS Revolver and Chijoku An tend to write quite a bunch of these. My Yandere older sister M-to-F'ed me! is probably my favorite.
Moving on to more extreme contents, TS-ko to Orc-san is pretty neat, and features everyone's beloved Good Guy Orc. If you can handle incest, there's some pretty nice series, such as: Para Furi ~Strange those who cohabit~, Hentai Futago, Copipe! and Change-De!.
Now talking about more specific authors, Marneko tends to do quite an amount of them, with more recently Maiden Carnation, though I do hope she'll continue Asa Onna na Ore to Futanarikko Ojou-sama one day (tan gender bender!). Ruen Rouga is another prolific author in the matter, though most of her works aside from Soul Chain are pretty tame in content (and get stuck in translation limbo). Finally, everyone's beloved Q also publishes a fair amount of one-shots unrelated to Dulce Report, but with some reoccurring themes (that is, futanaris, gender bender, and futanaris), namely Flesh Doll Studio, Extracurricular Torture [Lesson] and Girl's First Time.
Wish Ryo's Natsuduka series got fully translated though.
