it says ladder competition started yesterday. did we miss it?

I made a gaf team for gamebattles, so lets get people and get it started. It looks like the top 16 teams will be in the tournament, and we need 6 people in total (the team could hold 10 so we can have 4 alt). The top 2 teams go to Japan and the top 3 get cash prizes.

Prizes:

* One (1) 1st prize will be awarded to the winning team. The 1st place team shall receive: Four Thousand Dollars (US$4,000) in cash.
* One (1) 2nd prize will be awarded to the 2nd place team. The 2nd place team shall receive: Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (US$2,500) in cash.
* One (1) 3rd prize will be awarded to the 3rd place team. The 3rd place team shall receive: One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (US$1,500) in cash.
* The winning team and the 2nd place team (maximum of 6 players for each team) shall receive round trip coach class airline tickets to fly to compete in the Konami Metal Gear Online World Championship on October 11, 2008, in Tokyo, Japan.

I was summoned by Guled, thanks for letting me know about the tourny. Currently having some issues with my PS3, over the weekend it decided to not read discs anymore. I tried the usual tricks I could find by googling but looks like I'll be sending my PS3 off to Sony.

On that note, I won't be around MGO much for a while :lol

There is no cash prize for EU participants as far as I can see. Anyway good luck US GAF *thumps up*.

Accepted. I can play some tonight, but only until about 11:00 Central. What's everyone else's schedule like?

and i just had the most intense game of my life againt KoK. wooooooow. two good teams on GG cap with extra time on will test you :eek:
