I think Metroid Prime 2 will probably best Halo 2's single player, but Halo 2 obviously wins the multiplayer aspect of things.

Nintendo should let Retro create their own FPS IP after Prime 2.

People will compare them because:

They are on competing systems
They are in the second iteration of each of their series
They are coming out at the same time
They are both from the first person perspective
