Last episode was the beginning of volume 4.
If the pace of 2 chapter per episode continues, I believe it will adapt volume 4 to 7 witha a bit of volume 8.
Please stop. This 2017. English dubs are legit now

Todoroki has Yuki Kaji voice in JPN, and we rarely get Yuki Kaji voicing such a character, so the JP dub is great.
Are they in general? Certainly, they've improved.
One Piece and Naruto still sound terrible. Your Name wasn't great.
Depends on the anime. They aren't bad enough to dismiss them all together
Maybe if you're still watching the obsolete 4kids dub. The Funimation one is great.
I watched a few minutes of an episode from the latest disc collection for One Piece. Never again.

Ehhhh. The funimation joint is tolerable. Great is overselling it. It's certainly not bad though.
I've come around to using subs more in recent years, but it does seem like dubs nowadays do the best they can be expected to do. Trying to stay as true as possible to the original translation often times just means that there are gonna be strong differences in how lines are delivered. It's the nature of the job.

COuld finally see episode 17. aerial battle was pretty amazing.
Monoma really made the episode for me, love his strategy and all his lines and his personality. Such a breath of fresh air compared to the usual characters in class 1 A. Best boy of Class 1 B, and the way he got Bakugou fired up, more please.

Welp as expected heroaca fell out of the weekly tv ratings top 10. Guess viewers in jpn have abandoned it. Even time bokan 24 performed better.
Fucking hell, this makes me sad.
What are the chances they will cancel the show?

Another season after this one? This question is a bit more interesting, but it's not always about the ratings, but rather how the merchandise and manga sales (which of course depends on ratings too, yes, but it could be that manga readers don't like the anime, but still buy everything merchandise-wise) are.
Puh okay good, hopefully the tv ratings get better once shit hits the fan.
I really really like this anime and i'm not a manga reader so plss watch this show Japan.

I do know Funimation used a hell of a lot of money for it and that the series exploded in places like France but I don't know how much these factors in nowadays.
Shame it fell off but the lowest that list is showing is 3.3. it does not necessarily mean doom and gloom yet. It will probably show up again.

The first 3 episode had ratings that went upwards, not sure episode 1 had that much of an impact. Even if you disliked it that much.

You tell me. Considering that I agree with you and that episode 4 was the best, I don't understand why it would go from 3.9 to below 3.3.
I mean 2 and 3 were also super strong. I don't get it.
Saw the episode on Saturday, just haven't had time to post detailed thoughts. Here goes.

I love how the Sports Festival is forcing everyone to be competitive. Seeing Iida turn his back on Deku was hard to watch, but understandable. There can only be one number one hero, after all. It is bringing a really interesting dynamic to the show. You have had people like BakuBest and Todoroki who have pretty much been presented as rivals to Deku up until this point, but everyone at U.A. wants to be the next All Might. So for Deku, even those he has developed close relationships with can turn sour if the choice is between friendship or achieving their dream.
All of the chosen teams made a lot of sense, and I'm happy Tokoyami is finally getting his anime shine on. He has such a cool design, always love to see more of him. Excited to see more of 1-A and 1-B's rivalries as well.
There were also so many little things I loved. Bakugo blasting off to attack Deku only for Tokoyami to come in with the Assist, Sero using his tape to bring Bakugo down without touching the ground, Kirishima being a total manly bro when he asked Bakugo to team up, Deku crying when Uraraka asked if he wanted to team up...all fantastic.

Oh shiiìiiit! I BLINKED AND IT WAS OVER!
They nailed everything right. The recipro burst and the sense of speed was sooooo good. The impact frames comboed with Kaminari's face was 10/10. Bakugo's crazy and funny antics (him falling on on face at the end LOL) made him the best character this episode. Monoma will forever regret messing with him, Bakugo is one of the most stubborn guy ever. Midoriya's team though...MVP! Tokoyami best.
But they really nailed every quirk animation. Everything looked powerful and amazing. They also nailed the character interaction like always...these guys! I love em all!

i wish they'd extended out the time values for the seconds left. The time limits here were almost namekian in time dilation.
Bakugou completely styling on that copy dumbass was very satisfying though.

Not so much styling as brute forcing his way through but yeah, that was cool. Another display of his smarts when pushed.
i think it might have just been in the linear notes, but I thought I remembered one of Horikoshi's comments about Copy's thing being that he never actually has any experience actually using the copy powers, so the original can usually blow right past him.

I'm really curious about what the power of that purple haired guy who got third place was. His team seemed to have thought they lost at first and I even rewatched the end and yeah the team that was going to be announced was indeed third until the last time the scoreboard was shown.

Todoroki's bird talking was prolly the funniest thing in this episode. It had some good-ass moments.

The dub is great. They seem like they are having ton of fun doing it too.
But that moment was in the episode? Oh you meant the cursing? Yea this was never in the official translation.Dammit they didn't add the best manga panel. Not a spoiler but will tag it anyway
