I think the less minutes Kyrie and Love play the higher Cleveland's chances are of winning the series. Truly believe that, especially Love.

In that case where does bron get his offensive help? If JR isn't red hot then their screwed.


For all it's worth, this seems to be shaping up to to be a repeat performance from last year, in the sense that on paper it still seems like Lebron is gonna have to take over large parts of games to make up for his teams deficiencies even though everyone is healthy and that's not suppose to be the case

Could hurt their offense, but too much Love (or multiple bigs) will screw their defense even worse. Think if they abandon that and keep Lebron on Dray they might be able to keep up.

Zach Lowe put this in his piece today "If Love quakes and the Cavaliers fall behind, it wouldn't shock me if Cleveland at least broaches the idea of starting Shumpert in Love's place mid-series." Something like that could totally work imo.

If the Cavs lose, it's another example that you can't build championship teams around players who only play one side of the court. I can't remember the last title winner that had so many guys who were minuses on one side or the other. Warriors, Spurs, Heat, Mavs, Lakers, Celtics... they all had two-way players across their rosters.

Love may not even play the majority of the time in some quarters this series. He is an awful matchup with the Warriors.

"They called Steph a defensive liability last series and you saw what he did. It's something where I think we've been able to trust each other and became a better team on the defensive end. I don't know if I'll ever be the guy that's gonna be a lockdown defender but I think as far as team concepts and being a team defender... I don't think they'd do that. Not saying it wouldn't be the right thing to do, but I don't know if they would have the stones to do it. That said, if Cavs lose, he'd be the one I think would have to be on the trading block. If he doesn't show up offensively, which I think he will, but say he doesn't, then what do you do with him if he's not contributing offensively or defensively when it matters? And we already know he's got issues on D which I don't know if he's going to magically fix in the next year or two.

So apparently, aside from game two, every game is at 9PM EDT?? That doesn't make sense. The Cleveland games would be at 12AM PDT. That can't be right.

Agreed.

This all could be totally wrong also. Maybe Love kills it on D and rains down 3's. Just my gut feeling that he may not work this series. Or at least not work all the time.

soooo, a little birdie told me a few Cav's bench players was up late night drinking last night and kyrie was up drinking and smoking cigars ....let see how things go

Goddamn, all of ESPN's cameras were on Curry the entire warm-up until he went back to the tunnel. This is a sight to behold, he has more on him than any other athlete in any sport I've seen.

Cavs fan here. I'll say Wariors in 6, but I hope the Cavs can pull off an upset. Kind of shocked to see the Warriors come back from 3-1. I was really hoping to play OKC (matchups aside and everything, we would at least have home court advantage in that series). Oh well, I won't be that disappointed if we lose given the competition, but I'll be more than thrilled if we win.
