Love seeing GS blowing a 3-1 lead after doing the same thing to my Thunder. Congrats to Cleveland and of course an amazing performance by one of the best ever, Lebron James.

Steve Kerr is a d-bag and I'm glad they lost. After saying he didn't know why they were reviewing the nut kick last series and then his pathetic whining after game 6, couldn't have happened to a better dude.

Man that was a series. 4 blowouts, 2 per team at different points, 2 decent games and a nail biter of a game 7. The GSW bandwagon was way too cocky and over confident. Had to be humbled which is weird seeing as how the WCFs went with them jist making it out.

Felt good to see Lebron soak it in a bit.

Incredibly Naive
The regular season record will still stand. 20 years from now when some other team goes for 74 wins they will be talking about passing the Warriors not the Bulls.

Sure, but it won't carry the same weight. Also this gsw team will NOT be in the top teams all time discussion.

Has a team ever come back 3-1 in the finals? Also can't wait to hear from the warriors owner.

Real basketball still wins.

Complete basketball players still win.

I hate LeBron, but I am really happy for him here.

...but fuck, JR and Shump gets a title...and Varejao still gets no title. THIS CAN'T BE LIFE

Irving deserves an MVP award too. Guy was born this series and that needs to be better recognized. I wish LeBron would've given him some more love. He was UNreal tonight.

TT is a class-act by the way. Always liked that guy.
Richard Jefferson is a 15-year guy who came here for a title and got it. So happy for him.
Danhtay Jones is on an $8k contract and won a title. He can afford Cleveland rent with that.
I never thought Kyrie, with all his obvious offensive talent, was clutch.
He absolutely came of age this series.

Yes. I thought Kyrie would get MVP, honestly. He's MVP in my mind. Hit the game-winning shot and put the team on his back in this game.
Had to be Lebron. Had a much stronger series and was just as good (if not better this game). Plus the whole hometown hero/return thing. Both were fantastic though.

Some of y'all still acting like Stephen was hurt, just to avoid accepting that he shot hot and then regressed to the mean HARD.

Grats to Cleveland.

This wasn't even the worst choke of the playoffs though. OKC had big leads in multiple games against GSW and gave it away. GSW was never in control of this game, they got beat.

Also by far the worst possible series for Harrison Barnes. Whatever someone offers him they should just let him walk.

have to give love all the credit. He anticipated all his moves perfectly and shut his ass down. Didn't fall for any of his fakes and stayed right in top of him. Was an insane sequence.

For sure, Love actually played really well on D this series, or at least much better than people were fearing. His problem was he was way to slow to get his shot off against the Warriors speedy defense. But props to him for not forcing it, spacing the floor, and hitting the glass hard after Bogut went out. Bogut's injury was huge. Made them have to run out the Death Lineup too early and too much, when it's more effective against second units. What happened to Mo Speights?

Lebron lead in every statistical category on either team. I don't know if that has ever happened in NBA history. Kyrie was excellent though and played a huge role in Cle winning the title.

Is the deluge of posts over? Anyway:

1. Doris looks great
2. Kyrie clinched it for them. No room for it now, but he may be the best teammate Lebron has had. Incredible shot making. Defensive lapses in regular season are always overrated.
3. Lebron looked like himself. Incredibly athletic still. Wasn't there a stat made up "The Lebron" for this exact type of game? 27/11/11

meanwhile...

3. For GSW it was a mirror image of game 6 in OKC. Klay kept them in that game, it was Draymond in this one. The difference is Steph and Klay didn't step up.
4. I would love to list some stuff about Curry and GSW, especially that he's on one knee, but he was bad tonight regardless. No one else has had more opportunities this year. Honestly, what superstar can say their team will keep them close time and time again against the best in the nba? They've kept it close, Steph and Klay finished late a number of times. Not tonight.

This doesn't kill Curry's legacy, but it's as big a set back as Lebron in Miami against Dallas. Not that these Cavs are Dallas, all credit to them, but he bungled this series.

Can't get over LeBron's block off the glass and Love's spectacular defense on Curry. Game winning plays, along with an array of clutch shots from Irving.

This is like saying people are going to talk about beating the patriots perfect season and not the dolphins when another team goes undefeated in the NFL. That record means jack shit if you don't win.
