I ordered this in FEB, it finally arrived!!!!! (Sorry for the crappy iphone pics)

My beautiful screen for my projector fell and smashed into pieces. I decided to go with a Panny 50" 1080p plasma this time around.

Great choice in TV...not so much for sound..

I know the Bravia sound isn't the greatest, but this is in a 10ft by 12ft den. Plus the Bravia receiver was the only one that would fit in my tv stand, so I was limited in my choice. That and my wife won't let have big speakers. With a bit of tweaking it actually sounds quite good though. And yes, the Kuro is simply amazing. The black levels and colors are all very satisfying.

Next year I get to go all out. We're finishing our basement and building a movie theater with projector and 8 ft screen. I'm of course going to get a PS3 going down there as well as a nice 7.1 receiver with high quality speakers etc.

Yeah I feel ya man, WAF has hampered more than one HT setup. I'm sure that Kuro is pretty fantastic, I have been thinking of purchasing one when MGS4 releases because I don't think my current HDTV is up to snuff.

I just got my Nausicaa Watercolor Art Book today in the mail, and spent the last hour or so thumbing through it. I'm pretty impressed with the build of it, and geeked out to see Miyazaki's crazy criticism of his work ('This piece turned out especially badly').

Also got the first volume of the Nausicaa Manga and Opoona lately. I should take some pictures for GAF once I'm done splurging.

Got this today at my Gamestop. Finally. Not having rumble was really bothering me when playing Playstation 3 games.

Really starting to grow my Blu-ray selection. The $30 price tag still stings sometimes, although I usually buy on Amazon when I can(I Am Legend for $21 after shipping).

Two of my all time favorite games have been increasingly difficult to get running properly on my PC, so I got the versions that I know won't stop working. Before I joined GAF I didn't even now they existed.

Finished this a few days ago, and it was a great. It's really short though, so I'm glad I bought a cheap used copy.

Even though it's my least favorite Final Fantasy soundtrack, I thought it was kinda cool. It's a limited edition signed by Nobou Uematsu.

I also got a few Owen Pallett albums.
