I don't know what's sadder, the guy who actually took the time to zoom in on receipts, or the person who took the time to gather a mountain of receipts, some almost 4 years old, piled on a table to take a picture and post in an obvious attempt to show some sort of lavish lifestyle or braggadocio. Maybe it was a joke, but if so...just...ughhh....Epic fail.

Anyway, I love looking at the stuff people buy.

I'm boring though, I mostly buy music, blu-rays and the occasional game. I'll start saving my receipts. Will post them all in 2012 to show y'all how I roll. Baaallllin!! :D

I add new receipts to the pile all the time. Mainly clothing and electronics purchases only. It takes a whopping 2 seconds to take them out of a box. They help me with my taxes and actually saves me money with the corporate accounts I have.
There's nothing wrong with being boring. I'm a homely person myself. The only person that knows me is the OP.

Beyond all the shenanigans, I forgot to tell you how nice of Plasma that is Kintaro. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks! I'm running images to break it in, but I picked up Mirror's Edge (no HUD I think) to try on it. :D

Not sure if it matters but Mirror's Edge does have a dot in the center of the screen to keep people from getting motion sickness. There is an option to disable the dot in the options menu if I'm not mistaken.

Didn't really pick up much during black friday madness, but did get AC 4 Answer for $19.99 and some older 360 titles from GS B2G1. Also picked up a bunch of clothes and a couple of pairs of Clarks. To lazy to take pics.

No most of us feel bad because the joke was far from a joke. People get banned for posting stock images because it does nothing to further the conversation but this kind of shit is just tolerated? Wow I could really look at the pile of receipts and relate feeling like part of the community.

There are a lot of people having a bleak holiday season as is and she thinks that kind of shit is a joke? My self I do like her posts but most of them are just quantity - no quality IE: 20 Gameboy advances in a pile, not even taken care of just jammed together for shock. There have been posts that say if you follow these threads then you just know its a joke. I read the monthly thread daily and there have been very few jokes if any that I remember.

It just makes me sick that this was supposed to be a joke but at the same time people have been recently trampled to death and fighting over a single 360 to save a dollar and she shows off like that. Its offensive and not real funny.
