I legitimately forgot that part. I don't think those kind of things matter ultimately. I mean attention to detail is nice, but it has to be a memorable/great film first things first. I don't put a lot of stock into how much like the comic a movie is.Mah man.
I will never forget this moment on cinemas, a Celestial

CELESTIAL
And still we can't get a goddamn proper Dr. Doom? Fucking bullshit.
That won't happen unless Marvel gets the rights back. If Fox didn't have the balls to do it with the previous F4 series, there's no way they'll do it now.Yo, I need me some Galactus in a movie. Purple panties and all. Let's do this!
I recommend watching the 1994 unreleased Fantastic Four film. It's overall really bad, but at least its Doom is better than that 2005 piece of rubbish.
Wow, I tracked down some clips from that unreleased Fantastic Four and thank god that never got released. Soooo bad.
I will agree they got some aspects of Doom right, which makes the new Doom even worse.
People who have read the comics - how powerful are F4 compared to other superheroes? And what are some notable villains in this universe? I know there is silver surfer.

In terms of raw power they aren't that powerful. Reed Richards is one of the smartest people in the marvel universe though and they tend to go after the heavy hitters. Galactus, Doom, Annihilus, Ronan, Super Skrull, and occasionally Namor are all in there. If you are asking about movies though Marvel still owns the rights to a few of those characters.
Human Torch is pretty strong, his fire power (no pun intended) is very high. Physically speaking, Thing can hold his own against the Hulk for the most part. Invisible Woman has massive potential of being an insanely powerful being. Mr. Fantastic's power is kinda goofy and not all that great, his strength comes from being basically the smartest man on the planet.
Where Batman needs prep time, Reed already has all the shit prepared. "Oh what's this, the world is threatened to be destroyed by chunks of frozen orange juice exploding? Let me get the anti-OJ-explosive out of my closet!" - that kinda stuff.
As for villains, Dr. Doom and Galactus (and his heralds, to which Silver Surfer belongs) are the most popular ones, but there's plenty of others. It was the Fantastic Four in which the Skrulls - shapeshifting aliens - were introduced, including the Super-Skrull who is capable of mimicking the powers of the Fantastic Four. Various other alien races, such as the Inhumans, also were introduced through the books.
Another major villain is Mole Man, a supremely ugly but smart scientist whose looks made him go subterranean. Due to his intellect, he was able to take control over the Moloids, a humanoid subterranean species, which he occasionally used to get revenge or in an attempt to take over the surface.
Then there is the Wizard, who is a scientist whose shtick is discs with which he can manipulate gravity. He usually assembles a team of 3 other villains named the Frightful Four.
Annihilus, a bug creature from the Negative Zone (basically an alternate universe that the Fantastic Four discovered) has occasionally tried to take over our reality with his army of insectoid aliens. The most popular attempt in recent history was during the events of Annihilation (which is a book I heavily recommend picking up).
I would say that's the most important ones. There's some minor ones and a lot of villains they share with other superheroes (Avengers and Spidey in particular), but if I would pinpoint any villains that are heavily tied to the F4, it's those - Dr. Doom, Galactus + heralds, Mole Man, Wizard, Annihilus and the Skrulls as a whole.
Even worse; the lower part of the tank has no damage at all. The turret came clean off.
Put it this way (Annihilation Spoilers),Thanks for the input guys. Appreciate it.
Doom reminds me of this.

Christ, the amount of nightmares this gave me as a kid...
But they are relevantCEO's aren't scary either.
So we're in agreement Evil CEO Doom is the only way to keep him relevantDoctor Doom hasn't struggled to stay relevant in comics- in a lot of ways, he's like evil Batman.
/deadSo an evil CEO...
Doom is basically the god other gods pray too/dead
I mean, Doom's basically God right now in the comics. But monarch is a better term for Doom.
Except Marvel didn't make this.Looks like a marvel movie.
Except Marvel didn't make this.
I know.Except Marvel didn't make this.
I wouldn't say it doesn't look very good. I just said it seems to be comparable to the MCU movies quality wise so far, maybe it's worse once I can see it in full.I think he knows that. He's saying it doesn't look very good.
Except Marvel didn't make this.
Even when it was announced I rolled my eyes in this is gonna be a disaster and see here it does.Wow, looks exactly like what everyone thought it was when it first got announced.
A shit film rushed out to keep the rights from going back to Mahvel. I'll wait until it's bargain bin DVD fodder, might be worth a laugh or two. That Doom design is just straight up silly though. Metal zombie? Why?
What, you didn't find them hip and relatable and dank as heck? I bet you aren't even a Millennial. The trailer lost me at the F4 Kidzzzz
Brazilian trailer has more hobo doom and .... The Thing talking in normal human voice ?
