Has anyone established if there is any benefit at all to getting the PS5 version of games like AC Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising instead of the less expensive ps4 version with the free upgrade? Looks like bonuses and shit are all the same....

the 2060 super is less powerful than the 2070 which is equivalent to the 5700xt. hes basically peddling the 9 tflops nonsense and getting away with it because no one wants to ban industry people on era.

If he's been told from devs that its equivalent to the 2060 super then i would understand but he doesnt mention that here.

i knew something was off when he used the 2060 super instead of 2070 which is equivalent to a 9.3 tflops 5700xt with ingame clocks. he is trying to make the ps5 gpu look worse than it is.

ignore him. unless cerny was lying, the ps5 10.3 tflops gpu should be equivalent to a 2070 super.

All of them are bad examples, better have something offline as you're streaming from the server and some internally. Many thing affect it.

All the bias and money in the world cant change the fact that xbox is still loser tier. The Bethesda purchase was the only good move theyve made in 10 years and even then i guarantee all those games will end up on ps5 one way or the other. The fact Phil has been asked numerous times if theyll make it to ps5 and he never once said "No" should tell you all there is to know.

As someone who recently stopped working for 12 hours in the warehouse of the company I'm working for, loading boxes and packages for shipping to our customers (despite actually working as a graphic artist in a desk job for the rest of the year) for 6 days a week for one month, I fully, FULLY agree with your point. The exhaustion I went through and basically not living for an entire month just so that I would get +300 euros in my paycheck simply. Wasn't. Worth it.

But, yeah, I get it - it's school season, the boss needed some of the employees to help the employees of the warehouse who were understaffed since their workload is increased by 2000% (yes, two thousand percent) for the month of September.

But if I had to work like this for the ENTIRE year, I would go insane.

I don't want Bethesda games on PS5... it is a loser move
Exclusives are good for the industry so I expect the games that did not have a contract in progress to be Xbox console exclusive.

Theyll be on ps5. There may be a timed xbox exclusive here and there but theyll come over eventually. So will halo infinite, give it time. I bet halo infinite will be on as many platforms as possible when its all said and done. Same with the bethesda games.

Yeah but you don't really have anything substantial to share really... It's still impressive how quickly it loads. I've seen similar videos come by for Far Cry, was also blazingly fast.
 
Another benchmark. This time with AMD cards. The PS5 has more tflops than the 5700xt and should offer more performance. it should be around the radeon 7 and 1080 ti even if it cant match 2070 super.
