any chance of a PS5 event in October?
I'm going with Halloween or close to that day... No sooner than after the 28th due to AMD RDNA 2 reveal on that day.any chance of a PS5 event in October?
Hasn't reached the maximum output eh
There has to be AT LEAST as blog post about the UI and other console features. I'm expecting one more event with UI, features, and laying out all of the official launch details with games and stuff in one final video....at least that's what I'd like from Sony. Haha.any chance of a PS5 event in October?
hopefully there is indeed another one before launch, will be interesting to see what they will showI'm going with Halloween or close to that day... No sooner than after the 28th due to AMD RDNA 2 reveal on that day.
Has this been posted?
Is this real or fake?
What does that mean?
Welcome Back
This PS5 is phenomenally cool! I mean at 30C is just simply insane! And the console itself when felt wasn't really hot as described. A severe kick in the throat of XboxEra Discord.
I still dont get it. What part of the unit was measured at 30°C?? The outer surfaces? Like big wup. There is no way the CPU or GPU run at 30°. What are we measuring here? (if someone has an explanation, that'd be great)
I mean its getting colder right now, so the metallic surface of my PC has a Temp of about 15°. My GTX 1070 still runs at 78° at 100% during games.
Come on guys. I get it. I like Sony too. I dont have feelings for MS (well I did like the Zune and had one of the first windows mobile phones and thought it was really great) but these "news" are just a load of bull. Completely meaningless and praising them to high heavens is just as much stupid fanboy behavior as spreading nonsense about your competitor. Those numbers have no meaning, they weren't taking by professionals with professional equipment on validated test parkours and should be treated as such.
At this point, lets just wait and see till we have honest to god, head to head fair comparisons. When it comes to loading, temps, fps, resolution, raytracing performance and so on.
People already hyping up Horizon for being native 4K. No we dont know that. They may target that, but optimization hasn't even begun yet, so we simply dont know. They might go for variable res during heavy scenes. Everything you gain from these hyperbole's is just other fanboys quoting your bs hype posts to make themselves feel better, because you were wrong.
Dont get me wrong, I'm hyped as well, I have my preorder in place and I'm looking forward to a great year in gaming with all of what Sony has announced.
But the past few days have gotten a bit too much for my taste. Every breadcrum has been turned into the greatest thing since sliced bread, when all it was is just some random side note that might or might not be true.
Dont engage the trolls, dont fight other people's battles. Just be happy we have a good year ahead of us. Be hyped, but dont be hyperbole.
I see myself out.
Another benchmark. This time with AMD cards. The PS5 has more tflops than the 5700xt and should offer more performance. it should be around the radeon 7 and 1080 ti even if it cant match 2070 super.
The room was 30° not the console. They mentioned having 4(?) studio lights in a basement.I still dont get it. What part of the unit was measured at 30°C?? The outer surfaces? Like big wup. As far as I know 30ºC is the studio temperature during the recording. That's considered a "hot room" and the PS5 fans weren't screaming is a good sign.I still dont get it. i dont see why they would bother, pre orders are sold out, not like they can get more people to buy it. whatever they have planned why not wait a month or two and show it thenI'm pretty sure there is one out there ..
He's an X-Box fan with a devoted twitter/youtube presence who preaches a lot about 'positive mentality and behaviour' in gaming social media - he's against console wars and whatnot. Supports the X-Box brand, but he recognizes the strength and quality of Sony IPs (has publicly stated that he intends to buy a PS5 down the line).Who the fuck is Parris?
Some uncut Godfall gameplay.
30 degrees room temperature, not the console. Someone mentioned around 65 degrees GPU temperature, but I have no idea how could they know, or if it was a guess.I still dont get it. Not to mention that RX 5700 XT doesn't have RT hardware/intersection engines so PS5's GPU should be significantly faster than just 10-15% in games using RT. There is also the 'small matter' of PS5 having an advanced Geometry engine and cache scrubbers.Another benchmark. This time with AMD cards. 1 console might have an issueIs it true xbox series x has a heating issue or did that turn out to be false?
Is it true xbox series x has a heating issue or did that turn out to be false?
Maybe as a state of play they will show the UI and other features just like what they did with GOT ..
One person pulled the storage drive out and said it was really hot. A handful of people were given prototype XSX units to check old games out with.Is it true xbox series x has a heating issue or did that turn out to be false?
I guess we all want to know and do the comparisons. Thanks for clearing up the temperature thing. That was my bad then.
I stand by the rest that I said
Ps5 is rdna 1.5What did they say?
Someone from giantbomb noticed the expansion SSD card gets really hot, as well the console box around the port. According to him, it happened during stand by.Is it true xbox series x has a heating issue or did that turn out to be false?
What I've seen is that someone checked the air vent behind and the air coming out was warm, not hot.30 degrees room temperature, not the console. Someone mentioned around 65 degrees GPU temperature, but I have no idea how could they know, or if it was a guess.
There is on PS4, I doubt they would remove it from next gen.Is there a quick resume on PS5 ? any mention of it ?
There was a video with 4 people in it talking, one of the guys in it saidthe console was super hot, he had the little ssd in his hand.
Other than that it's all quiet, would love to see if he have a faulty machine or are all the xobx going to be like that.
I like to think that this is not an issue and he just had a shitty one,
Good to know thanks.Someone from giantbomb noticed the expansion SSD card gets really hot, as well the console box around the port. According to him, it happened during stand by.
Not much to draw conclusions from, tbh.
Is there a quick resume on PS5 ? any mention of it ?
He said his console was on standby, wasn't he downloading games and that's why the card was so hot? If so and that's not an isolated issue, people will have problem to remove it when the system is on.There was a video with 4 people in it talking, one of the guys in it saidthe console was super hot, he had the little ssd in his hand.

Yeah, or remove graphical featuresHere’s my question. If say a developer wanted to push both visual flare and 60fps and this in turned required them to hit a resolution of around 1440p on PS5 and Series X, then how would they scale such a game on Series S? Would they have to hit sub 1080p?
Geez man.Huh ?
is there one on PS4 ?!
