This is not about the 'results' or sales only, and i am not about talking about playing the same dirty PR wargames. But anyhow, nevermind, i just couldn't keep my frustration to myself at this time.

I don't think it's the case PS5 is more powerful than Series X. Let's be honest, it isn't, theoretically.

It's more revolutionary as opposed to evolutionary to be honest.

If the PS5 didn't have several customised chips and a different approach, this gen would still be a bloodbath, but with Series X winning, not PS5.

When Tesla first made a car people just couldn't get their heads round the concept, electric cars prior could go five miles barely at the speed limit, now everyone is trying to make fast electric cars.

I have build a utility that, when applied to a copy of Bloodborne v1.09 (the latest update), will modify the game engine in a way that allows most of the gameplay logic to run at arbitrary update speeds, increases the framerate cap to 60fps, and optionally lowers the rendering resolution to 1280×720.

I’m sure it is, but I think it’s the components that everyone is traditionally pointing to that are superior in the x. Because there is not precedent for this type of I/O and SSD there was/is much doubt cast and slowly but surely people will come to realize that’s the difference maker in the systems. It was all there in the Cerny deep dive and there were a ton of secret sauce comments that still aren’t getting it. On top of that, it’s new to developers. So, while we can expect for familiarity and better performance down the road for both consoles, this is the area where developers might find the most room for improvement and for their techniques to grow given its relative infancy.

RedGamingTech doesn't usually leak upcoming games, but specialises in hardware leaks but he has stated in two of his videos now that Bloodborne is getting a remaster which will receive "drastic improvements" including 60 FPS and that will be released on the PS5 as well the PC. He could be wrong but I do remember a few other people hinting at it as well.

Don't worry, now they'll probably update the game with a 1.10 patch...in order to break the hack working on the 1.09. :p

Warrior victim because the man wasn't happy with coil whine, nice. I actually never had any luck with coil whine, but i recognize that to some people it might be obnoxious. My wife complains every time she enters the room where the pc is. 99% of you would be singing a whole different song if it was the Xbox being affected by it.

You do know that PS5 has more horsepower in some elemantary parts of its GPU besides the customized chips right?

Only when settings are equal and they are employing the same rendering algorithm/technique then they can do a real hardware performance comparison. It's obvious now the RayTracing implementation and quality are different between PS5 and XSX, they don't even have the same bugs also confirms RT are employing different techniques. Alex's photo mode test is false and useless, there's no indication of GPU capability here. It's more a show of the pros and cons of the 2 RT methods, and by the looks of the accuracy PS5 is employing the more heavier method

Edit: Yes Alex did emphasize all settings are equal between the 2 consoles, but did Remedy specifically confirm that's it's exactly the same RayTracing (considering the different hardware setup)?!
