How is Ray Lewis overrated this year? He leads the league in tackles FYI in case you guys didnt know. I mean what else can a LB do? Sure he might not be carrying the defense but you cant blame him for any of the troubles our secondary had in our bad games. But other than that our D has still been elite and a lot of it is due to Ray and his emotional play. The year he was hurt our defense was no where near the top of the league how it has been with him in there.

Let's see. Ray Lewis does have many tackles (often inflated), yet he has 1 sack, 0 interceptions and 0 forced fumbles. What more can a linebacker do? Well FYI Urlacher in only 9 games has 5 sacks, 1 interception and 2 forced fumbles. Yet who's the overated player?

i think ray lewis is overrated but still one of the top 5 LB's in the league. the ravens defense has been gashed pretty badly at times this year, but overall it's clear they are a top 10 defense and ray lewis is a big reason why. sportscasters still say teams should fear ray lewis because of this and that, but i don't see the opponent scared of ray lewis. teams have run right at him with success and haven't shyed away from passing on him either. ed reed is the best player on the ravens defense

god fucking DAMN i'm tired of sports commentators talking about "it". every week i see that fat fucking butterball mark schlereth say "Now I don't know what "it" is, but whatever "it" is, he has definitely got "it"." EVERY FUCKING WEEK he pulls that shit. "look, i dont know what IT is, but manning has it" "I dont know what IT is, but the patriots have it" shut the fuck up about it! i will tell you what IT is for a QB you dumb shit schlereth:

- pocket presence
- accuracy
- good decision making
- ability to improvise
- decent team around him

that's what it is. its no fucking secret. maybe I'M crazy, but the more i watch pre-game/post-game shows on fox/espn/cbs/abc, the more i can't stand these tools or whoever writes for them. for shame!

lmao i know man. The only thing that pisses me off more than schlereth is salisbury. He's always on there saying "i promise you...." followed by X team will reach the playoffs, X QB will throw 5 tds, etc. Maybe if he was better on promises he wouldv'e been in the nfl longer than 2 years.

Salisbury is a joke, and its sickening the way hes jumping carolinas nuts. oh but they have "heart" and nobody else in the nfc does. lol the rams dont have heart? how bout when we made up a 17 point deficit in 5 minutes to beat seattle? or when marc bulger ran 19 yards for a TD to give us the lead with seconds left vs NO?

he's so predictable, if you're losing, its because your team doesnt have heart. i wanna slap that bitch every time i see him on tv running his fat worthless mouth

oh and the way he leans over and touches golics or schlerteths arm every time he talks, gawd what a fruit. he wasnt even good enough to coach QBs in arizona, lmao. :lol

If people think the mark of a great LB is simply sacking the QB..... How many tackles does Urlacher have?

What defense do the Bear play anyway... 3-4 or 4-3?

Most overrated player isn't Urlacher or Lewis. Both of those guys are having good to decent seasons. For my money I think the most overrated player is Shockey. Almost every tightend is having a bigger season then last, but Shockey looks like shit and his numbers suck too. No surprise that it is a New York player. They have hyped up a lot of garbage players in the past as well. He also plays with the most protected player in the league, Eli. It doesn't mean he won't turn it around and it is mostly Coughlin's fault for putting him in there, but he is making like zero plays. A good quarterback could at least make something happen, even against a good defense. Yet all I hear is that Ben is being "carried" by a good Steelers team while it is the "Giant's fault" that Eli is looking like Ryan Leaf. That is bullshit, it wasn't like Ben came into the best of situtation and when he started no one thought the Steelers were going to do anything. Protect Eli all you want, but you don't have to disrespect someone who is actually getting it done this season because your boy looks like he is related to Ryan Leaf and not Peyton Manning.

You must have missed the part where I stated Urlacher also has 1 interception and 2 forced fumbles. And in only 9 games he has 79 tackles. I'm not saying Lewis is the most overated player but for Urlacher to be named as most overated is ridiculous and these stats against one of the leagues other elite linebackers prove.

Dude does it always have to be about Ben with you? :lol

Shockey isn't being used as well as he had before. His numbers before this season are comparable to Todd Heap's. He just has a shitty quarterback now that can't throw in there now.

:lol piston

did you see the goofy expression on his face after wallace was asking him questions? his mouth was closed but his front teeth were sticking out

Giants fans need to be fukken ASHAMED the way they just surrendered their stadium like this.

Do you know how hard it is to get tickets to Giants game at all? The waiting list is like 20 years.

intangibles, motherfucker
Everytime they show Eli's face in a game it always has a look of "What the hell am i doing here?"
or
"Im about to get my ass kicked"
