Operation Ivy was one of my favorite bands when I was younger, and I once saw one of the guys from the band at a cafe near my house in SF. I thought about aying something to him but he was with his wife and kids. Bay area was a cool place to live for all the food, but I couldnt wait to move back to the East Coast.

Thats great... Theres no way I'd be able to hold back and at least shake their hand. I got a chance to talk to Jesse Michaels after a Classics of Love show (his current band) and it was just so great. To me its usually not a big deal to shoot the shit with one of the bands you're seeing when they're walking around the show or whatever since they're just dudes playing music, but Op Ivy is by far my favorite band over the years and still is. I still can go on long kicks of listening to them and it never gets old
