It has LOTS of singleplayer content AND online

Hmm, I must have overlooked the SP stuff on this game. My initial impression when I played the Nindies demo was that it was only a party game. And while I do love multiplayer games on Nintendo systems, my friends and I usually go out more often then over to someone's place, so I have a ton of multiplayer games that don't get much love as it is. I'll definitely take another look at this one. Thanks for the insight!

My goodness, that whole OST is pretty fantastic.

So I beat Link to the Past today on 3DS, and noticed something: I had a hell of a time seeing invisible platforms (like the ones in the Ganon's Tower basement), even on max brightness. Did anyone else have this problem with previous VC releases?

Hey, Europe gets a demo of Pocket Card Jockey this week. That's a nice surprise, given it was in the NA Direct but not ours.

Also Mario Party 2 and Mario Party DS on Wii U VC.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

Use Slippy's new invention to ward off waves of enemies and get them to leave Grippy alone! Use 12 cameras, setting them up in various locations to find and attack any enemies that approach the mining site. Use the television screen and Wii U GamePad in tandem to work out where the enemies are, then blast them away! You can also edit the placement of enemies and upload these enemy patterns online so others can play your stage. You can play in new ways by collecting rare metals when you upload stages, and also get rare metals by playing other players' stages.

Queens Garden (Joindots) - €6.99/£5.49

This is one party you definitely don’t want to miss!

Mario Party 2 (Nintendo) - €9.99/£8.99
What do you do when your first party is a raging success? You throw another one, of course! Mario and all of his famous friends have long since RSVP'd for Mario Party 2, so you'd be a fool to miss this fiesta. Like the original Mario Party, this star-studded sequel allows up to four players to compete in exciting interactive board games packed with surprises. Mario Party 2 features six all-new multiplayer Adventure Boards, and a special Quest Mode for players who prefer to party alone. There are 64 action-packed mini-games in Mario Party 2. Most of these games present brand new challenges, and some are updated versions of the best mini-games from the first Mario Party. Mario Party 2 expands on the great visual style that was established in the original game. Each Adventure Board features a unique theme, and the characters dress differently depending on where they are playing. Nothing delivers more replay value than great multiplayer gaming, and Mario Party 2 has been developed specifically for that purpose. The first Mario Party Pak was a hoot, and Mario Party 2 has enough atmosphere and new surprises to keep your shindig raging all night long.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Wait a second, I don't remember Pocket Card Jockey to be announced for Europe, and now there's a demo.

For a game they already purposely skipped over and likely have no intention to upload, Mario Party 2's PR sure likes to sing the praises of the first Mario Party.

Yep, this is the announcement now. I am so glad, I was a bit upset when it wasn't in our Direct.

Also, Never Alone is a great buy there. Excellent game, and you'll still get the full 20 Gold Coins from it based on its £12.99 price.

So how much will PCJ cost ? The pr doesnt mention the price and i dont remember it being a f2p game.

So how crap is the Langrisser game really? I could stand it being quite crap but mostly fun to play. Impressions?

You know how there's games that are "So bad, it's so good?" Well, from what I've read, Langrisser is in the "So bad, it's garbage" category.

Everything I read about it is extremely off-putting, and I closely followed the game before launch and.... not pretty. If it was a low-budget game like some of the other strategy games on the eShop, I'd say "hell, why not", but at that price... yeah, better avoid it.

Wow, Mario Party 2 AND DS?

.......so how come Mario Party 3 still hasn't seen a rerelease? I understand the original had a ton of "rotate the analog stick" stuff that lead to brused palms so Nintendo doesn't want that to happen again.

Well since we are getting MP2, MP3 will probably come later.

I was thinking the exact same thing. What an usual description.

I'm surprised EU received both Mario Party 2 and Mario Party DS - on the same day, at that. This gives me hope that we will finally get MP3 within the next few months. Preferably before the NX releases...

I'm still hoping we get the Club Nintendo Picross games that Japan got, considering we got TPicross.

I can't see too many new features for e7. I see Mega Picross (20x15) and that's really it.

Speaking of which, are there any good ones available for the Wii U? I know one came out a few weeks back, but it seemed like people had issues with it.

There also seems to be a new type of mark so you can mark squares temporarily without invoking any penalties. I remember some people asking for that before.

EDIT: and I think it also says you can now choose to either hold or toggle the d-pad/circle pad directions for stylus controls.

Star Fox looks exactly how it should : transcending gaming history and the universe, a tale of foxes and monkeys, eternally retold

Japan is getting Sin & Punishment on Wii U next week (N64 original). One of these days, I should update my Wii version so then I can use the Gamepad, which should be the better controller given the controls.
