I already beat Wind Waker HD long ago and I thought it was worse than Twilight Princess! And no way am I leaving the series, I still remember how much I had a blast with my fav Zelda titles (Zelda II, Legend of Zelda, and Triforce Heroes respectively). I just hate how much of my time is wasted in massively long and tedious dungeons that take me hours to complete with extremely slow and frustrating puzzles. And besides, I've played a majority of them, no reason to leave now (the only ones I haven't played are one of the Oracle games, Crossbow Training, Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks, and I think that's it).
It seems like it's a problem that the 3D Zelda games that aren't Majora's Mask have (well... Majora's Mask has it too, wish its dungeons were MUCH smaller and less overall).
I just want a giant overworld with a ton of micro dungeons with little to no Zelda puzzles (or at the very least a puzzle difficulty select) and an emphasis on combat and sidequests. Which is why I thought Skyrim ROCKED. The dungeons were fun and never overstayed its welcome, all of the sidequests were super streamlined and I never got lost (getting lost is by far my least favorite part in any game by far), and I felt like a badass in every turn. I felt like a badass in some Zelda games (ZII and Hyrule Warriors definitely), but it's so hard in the later 3D Zelda titles because of their agonizingly slow pace.
