Official Nintendo switch 2 price México 690 $... 13.599$

It's embarassing that Nintendo kept the lower US price despite crazy tariffs, and sets such high prices in lower income countries

Nintendo has more flexibility because the tariffs are only 10% on Vietnam. Including when the launch of the system occurs. They make a ton of cash from the U.S. market, so likely view the 10% as less financially painful than raising the console price at launch and more importantly having reduced software sales.

If the higher tariffs kick in again in a couple months then obviously Nintendo will have to raise the price. However, U.S. and Vietnam just began trade talks yesterday with both sides at least publicly proclaiming optimism. So the possibility exists that the 10% tariff might actually decrease.
