I really hope they have more characters available outside of Heihachi.
My biggest hope is that they have the new audio build in the new beta build so we can analyze it and actually hear it instead of the awful, rehashed dubstep that is in every single trailer. The original mix was god awful. Characters are practically mute, and the music was almost nonexistent. It really makes you wonder what the audio guys were doing outside worrying the mix was too chaotic and distracting - it's a mash up brawler, it's going to be chaotic no matter what. That's why people like these types of fighters.
Going back to that Gamespot interview, the fact that they even said they weren't sure how to balance it, that they were trying to avoid too much confusion, makes me sad. There should be audio cues for when characters are doing certain attacks. They should feel like they do in their corresponding games, right down to how they sound. Kratos is pretty good but he still isn't quite as vocal as he is in the GoW games.

I think they goofed on the dates. EU updates on Wednesdays so 12-19th makes more sense.

Eh. Honest mistake. NA dev posts dates that coincide with NA store updates. The EU blog guys are the ones that deserve a lot of the blame for not checking on that.

This is my theory. The audio mix will probably still be the insanely lame alpha mix (no music, mute characters) but they'll add in the code for the remaining characters, meaning someone will eventually hack the code and find the files and ruin the TGS reveal.

I'm gonna agree with cc here. This is their biggest screw up ever and SuperBot can go pound sand for all I care at this point. I hate how they're off by a day.

As a fan of random update times, this literally makes me sick. Random updates is a staple of SCEA, and it's not right for another region to basically copy and paste the practice and call it their own. Hopefully Grace Chen will sue or something, because this is so wrong.
They're probably enjoying this, for once they have full control of the info without any leaks.
