Snopes says false, and has video.

That said, if they're wrong, ugh people suck
Wouldn't people suck either way? If true that would be very depressing, but it's not great that people would make something like that to make a politician's supporters look bad.

Maybe I live in a bubble but I haven't seen anything awful from Sandes' supporters. I have seen plenty of personal attacks of them by Clinton supporters.

I always expected that Bernie would lose the nomination and that I would gladly vote for Hillary in the general. My hope was just that he would move the Overton window. It's been a surprise how vicious things have gotten.

Can't lie, when I look at this -

The first thing that comes to mind is that this is looks like on of those studies where they poll Joey McWhiteman vs Pedro GenericMexicanName to identify racial bias.

Polling has suggested for months that if it got down to one establishment candidate they would easily lead both Trump and Cruz. This will be Rubio's real test here to see if he can live up to that.

Fucking Bush getting out before Super Tuesday.
Polling has never suggested anything of the sort. The Trump Carson Cruz coalition has consistently gotten over 50% of the vote for months now.

Alabama-Trump
Alaska-Trump
Arkansas-Trump
Colorado-Trump
Georgia-Trump
Massachusetts-Trump
Minnesota-Trump
Oklahoma-Trump
Tennessee-Trump
Texas-Cruz
Vermont-Trump
Virginia-Trump
Wyoming-Trump

*last polls had Cruz ahead in AR and Rubio in MN. I think this is the ultimate outcome.

My concern about CANT STUMP THE TRUMP is that it's all based on current polls. There's no, like, RULE that Rubio can't just get a huge bounce out of massive over performance in SC. Fucking Cruz. Piece of shit.

edit: Jeb and Poomouth also both underperformed (again). And that other sleepy guy.

WE HAVE DEFIED EXPECTATIONS...for third in south carolina (?)

There's currently a shitton of discussion about the election in the Scandinavia.

From what Ive read, this are peoples opinion about the candidates:

Trump: Fascist, sexististic exonophobic shithead.
Rubio: Dumbass shithead.
Cruz: Retarded stupid ignorant.
Hillary: Super mega conservative.
Bernie: Conservative.
I get clinton. But sanders as conservative? ?? Wow how socialist do you have to be lol

Can Hillary win CO and MA despite being down right now?

I am going to keep banging this drum until proven otherwise...there is exactly one poll out of MA with Bernie in a slight lead, and all previous polls had Hillary way up. I will pull a win out in MA for Hillary!

Bernie is going to win independents there. Can Hillary's win with D's offset that?

I see in that PPP MA poll independents make up 31% of the vote and 18-45 is 39%

Unless the leading candidate doesn't have enough delegates, I don't think they can just get rid of them. Though the DNC obviously has superdelegates.

edit: In my defense, when I picked Bush in AUGUST, I didn't know Right to Rise was headed up by some fucking morons.
Leave Mike Murphy alone. Bush lost t-this all on his o-own.

Crap, he lost SIX? Or are votes still being counted and they haven't been assigned yet?

If I were Trump, I'd be promising Kasich BIG THINGS to stay in the race until Ohio. Shit, if I were HILLARY, I'd be promising Kasich big things to stay in until Ohio. Kasich is the firewall preventing Rubio from consolidating the establishment vote, and if he drops out, Trump may be stumped.

After yesterday I'm up over a grand on Predictit. Another $500 in unrealized earnings that I could sell and cash out now.

I can buy a refurbished MacBook now, but maybe after Super Tuesday I'll be able to buy a new one.

I can't see how Rubio magically absorbs all of Bush's support. It's going to get split two or three ways and Trump is still going to crush it.

Encapsulate every single reason why Bernie will never make inroads with black folks.
Reddit is so god damn annoying anymore. They act like they have the only voice in this election.

Did Bernie actually win the Hispanic vote or not?

We won't know for sure until final results are released (the results for nevada are still outstanding in a number of precincts, about 5% IIRC) but from what we know so far? no he didn't.

Hillary won all of the large hispanic districts by a fair margin. Not possible if bernie was leading hispanics by 8%, as the entrance polls indicated. That was just bad polling.

But the Clinton campaign insists the only myth is that Sanders won Latinos. Clinton campaign officials pointed to the nearly two dozen majority-Hispanic precincts that had reported results as of 8 p.m. Pacific time — claiming Clinton won 60 percent of the delegates in those precincts as evidence the entrance poll is inaccurate. And Clinton, overall, has a roughly 10-point lead in populous Clark County, which includes Las Vegas and where more than 30 percent of residents (and likely a larger percentage of Democratic caucus-goers) are Latino.

nate does not think so. He made inroads though

you live there and are on the ground so I take your word. Also like you said more polling needed. When is Boston Globe coming out?

I don't know, I was trying to find out. Like I said before, I won't live in denial if the new polls come out in Bernie's favor, I just need some more evidence that the state has given up on Hillary en masse so quickly.

Because Clinton is offering... what, exactly?
Reality? An understanding of math? Actual public policy experience with detailed plans? Sanders's policy positions are woefully lacking in detail and high on the expectation that he will sweep into the Presidency and get everything passed ~somehow~, despite his plans and viewpoints being 100x more anathema to a Republican-controlled Congress than Obama's.
Meanwhile Clinton, for all the shit she gets, has a track record of wheedling concessions out of Republican lawmakers, and is to the left of Obama. So she has the possibility of pushing his legacy further left while being more effective at doing so.

lol

I guess they blacks think Sanders should take his cheaper universal health care and free college and legal weed and shove them.
You tell them, white guy in your 20s! You tell "them." Tell those blacks.

God, reading that thread has made me realise that the only thing worse than people who are outright bigoted is people who think they aren't prejudiced and then patronise all the stupid people who aren't like them.

These cheery ads telling people to call and thank Senators ( one McConell, another Grassley) for saying the people should decide who the next supreme court justice is with the next election. Gotta change those minds with the power of positivity!

My favorites

It is because the Clintons have built a cult of personality amongst the black community over the past 30 years. Bill Clinton mastered the art of how to appeal to the black community. What important is how they are "courted", i.e. being comfortable around black people, appointing black people to his cabinet, leadership teams, etc... Even if he passed legislation that was severely detrimental to black people, he still has their loyalty and support.

Bernie needs to go on the Arsenio Hall show playing the saxophone. That's how you get black vote.

I don't get a lot of your complaint, but I do understand the complaint that one should not be talked down to about their political choices.
I'm disappointed but not angry when people in Kansas vote against their interests and put in GOP pols who cut taxes and create a state budget crisis that deeply harms those same people of Kansas.
Likewise I'm disappointed but not angry when African American voters look at Clinton's and Sanders' records and still decide to vote for Hillary.
I believe that Bernie's policies are good for the vast majority of America, so I push them because I think the AA community reflects America and therefore those policies are also good for the vast majority of AAs.
I believe that legalizing marijuana is the crux of criminal justice reform because I believe that marijuana laws are not uniformly applied and are used instead by the police to harass minority communities.
Clintonites like Rahm Emanuel, mayor of Chicago, just reflect poorly on her and I think this needs to be pointed out.

My favorite posts are the "BLM are the real racists here, but you say I'm being a condescending asshole?"

But yeah I agree with Macho, we shouldn't be giving these assholes too much attention.

Kasich was just on Face the Nation talking about how he's going to do well on Super Tuesday, and that he could gain momentum from there.

I. Love. This.

Absolutley.

If I were a Democratic billionaire, I'd form an anonymous SuperPAC and run pro-Kasich ads in Florida and in Super Tuesday states where he's demonstrating some form of a pulse. Even if he peels off just a few percent here and there, his presence could make a significant difference in outcome in a tight race like this.

==

Seems like Trump has a pretty obvious path here, courtesy of Kasich, Carson, and Cruz. Scott Walker's words will prove hauntingly true.

I know we shouldn't give those Reddit people a voice but someone in there legitimately said AAs don't care about social justice. How.... in what... I mean....

Thanks black people, you may have just fucked the entire world economy because you're too fucking ignorent to do 10 minutes of research before voting.
I mean... holy shit stupidity! You really can never say something is ethnic, but in this case you've got a complete showing of ethnical community stupidity, and it's sad. why why why? because Bill played the saxophone? Why is such a majority of the black community being so dumb this time around? The dude is calling for free college, healthcare, and has been a civil rights fighter since the water cannons. i don't get it.

And these are supposed to be PROGRESSIVES.

hahahahaha

I can't even get mad anymore.

If Ted Cruz can't make friends, how is he so well funded?

Well, think about how much personal access you have to the President. Now think about how much you want to personally be around Ted Cruz. :X

Shit, most of the stuff Bernie is proposing is status quo in Scandinavia.

This is a good primer on colorblindness and a lot of the unconscious racism that still remains even among progressives. Although there's still plenty of progressives that will go straight into disastermouse mode when they get mad enough too. :/
