so what are the odds at now at dems taking the Senate or the house

senate is guaranteed if things stay as they are. anecdotal reports of internal polling and preliminary numbers are saying support for republicans is cratering across the board.
There isn't time for these people to recover, especially not with more trumptapes coming.

house is up in the air. general consensus is that turnout needs to be in the 8 point range or greater to flip the house. looking good currently, but we really need more polls to come in.

Yes, give me your hate.

Paula Barche Rupnik, a Republican from Scottsdale, Ariz., was planning to vote for Senator John McCain in his re-election campaign this year. But she changed her mind this weekend, after he rescinded his support for Donald J. Trump.

Instead, she plans to split her ticket, voting for Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, but for Mr. McCain’s Democratic challenger, Representative Ann Kirkpatrick.

She has never voted for a Democrat before.

“I want to send a message to John McCain,” said Ms. Rupnik, 58, a consultant for an essential oils company. “If he doesn’t get elected, the American people that support Trump are going to blame it on those Republicans who didn’t support him.”

Stephen Cotta, 61, a Navy veteran who owns a cannabis testing lab in Tempe, described Mr. McCain as a “traitor” and echoed Mr. Trump’s view that he was “not a hero.” Mr. Cotta said he, too, planned to vote for Ms. Kirkpatrick, the Democratic Senate candidate.

“If you can see McCain and Hillary aren’t that far apart on their philosophies, O.K., that’s why they can stand up so adamantly to Trump,” Mr. Cotta said.

“I think the Republican Party is out for itself,” said Buddy Greene, a 48-year-old stonemason from Center Harbor, N.H., who said he supported Mr. Trump in the Republican primary in February. “They are not looking at issues of regular folk in the country.”

As he watched the New England Patriots play on television at the Frog Rock Tavern in Meredith, N.H., Mr. Greene said Ms. Ayotte had lost his support. But he said he had already come to see her as overly politically motivated.

“It does not surprise me with her,” Mr. Greene said. He said he planned to leave his ballot blank for the Senate contest on Election Day.

wow, people saying McCain is not a hero? wtf? I don't agree with everything McCain does, but the dude went through hell. Fuck Donald Trump, my god.

Lol what?! These idiots are going to vote for a Democrat because their officials rescinded support for Trump?

What?! Wow, these people are indoctrinated crazy's, I can't believe that. I'm happy that it's happening, but I'm shocked at how petty and stupid his supporters are.

Well... not really.

I love that they're demonstrating just how little they understand about politics. I mean, if you want to make it more difficult for Trump's politics to succeed, I am more than happy to have you do so.

Turns out that appealing to extremist voters elicits extremist reactions.

And there's more!

Frustrated Latino Republicans To Call For RNC’s Reince Priebus To Resign

During a meeting ahead of the final debate in Las Vegas, 25 conservative Hispanic leaders will convene to chart the way forward for a tarnished Republican Party and Latinos. They feel betrayed by Priebus, who promised to be their partner.

Ahead of the final debate in Las Vegas next week, prominent Republican Latinos will meet at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino. That meeting will officially be about charting a way forward for Republicans and Hispanics after what they expect will be Election Day carnage caused by Donald Trump, but there’s another major item on the agenda.

“We’re calling for the head of Reince Priebus,” said Artemio Muniz, chair of the Texas Federation of Hispanic Republicans, and one of the organizers of the conclave. “Someone has to pay for the death of Santino, like in the Godfather.”

In interviews, the Republicans said they feel “betrayed” by Priebus, who in meetings after the much ballyhooed but ultimately abandoned Growth and Opportunity Project in 2012, said he would be an ally in accomplishing immigration legislation.

“Reince told us he would call out whoever used extreme rhetoric on immigration, of course we feel betrayed,” Muniz said.

Yep...I bet those people will say trump is a war hero if he told them to. These people are the vivid representation of the Orwellian nightmare.

Their minds are so poisoned the alt-right turned them into Democrats?

People like that simply aren't going to vote or are going to just vote Republican. This is like Trump rollout out his signature African-American.

They don't see it that way. They are voting for an authoritarian who promises 'law and order,' building a wall and subjugating millions on the basis of skin color and religion. They expect him to accomplish those things without the need of congress.

I made this yesterday morning, but it's the closest senate races that will likely go blue.

North Carolina, Penn, New Hampshire, Nevada, and Indiana. It's important to note that Nevada is tough to poll for Democrats, and Harry Reid is implying that internals show it's safe Democrat.

Going by some rumblings of internal numbers today, it looks like Florida is back on the table.

I'm watching Giuliani right now from scrubbing back the live Trump rally. He talked about Trump giving a whole and complete vision of the future of America, and how he's bringing back jobs. I honestly don't remember a single plan he mentioned last night. What a nightmare.

Edit: Wait. WAIT. Right Side Broadcasting gave a pre-debate show to Pastor Mark Burns of lying about his military and education fame?!

What we're really witnessing here is the failure of our educational system. It's astonishing that so many people seem to genuinely not know how our government works nor know basic economics.

The only thing I can think of from both debates is when he talked about our infrastructure in the first debate. To his credit, fixing our infrastructure would create jobs throughout our country. But that's an idea, not a plan, really.

I mostly remember the second debate having him interrupt, do his usual shtick, but never give any plans. Anderson even pushed him on his plan for Syrian humanitarianism and he fell apart or, if I'm not mistaken, said it's "fallen already" in regards to Aleppo.

Also, Giuliani ended his stump speech before Trump came out with, "he loves you! She hates you!"

this is fine.

More on it:
Trump dep. campaign mgr David Bossie on the firing of Corey Stewart: "He is being replaced, effective immediately..." (1/2)
Bossie (2/2): "Corey made this decision when he staged a stunt in front of the RNC w/out the knowledge or approval of the Trump campaign."
Trump campaign mgr Kellyanne Conway on protest/Stewart firing: "We have a tremendous working relationship w/ the RNC" (1/2)
Conway (2/2): "Chairman Reince Priebus has been an engaged & incredibly supportive ally to Mr. Trump throughout the campaign"

Civil war within the Trump campaign itself. haha.

We're not seeing a failure of anything.

You can teach these things but these people deep in their heart want white supremacy. When the system worked to maintain that in these respectful forms they were fine. Now its preventing their desired outcome so they disregard that. Norms and rules are only rules if people agree to play by them.

I'm using white supremacy in not white superiority but in white needs being seen as more legitimate and the view they should be the focus of the government even if that is at the exclusion of others.

edit: I think they way people believe that this ideology wasn't always here and is fixable is a mistake.

As clinton says, you don't change peoples hearts. You change laws and win elections
