Not only does it miss the entire point behind why the tape's content is awful but the fact that they have a laser point on Rap as a genre when so many others feature songs with lewd lyrics says a lot.

Forget Obama. Imagine if Hillary had 3 husbands, cheated on them, ran casinos into the ground and didn't pay a dime in taxes for 20 years.

Sometimes I wonder if there is someone exactly like me in the Republican party who believes he is just as correct in his worldview as I am, and it scares me. What if there is no universal truth.

In the long run, yes, but I can't imagine a scenario in which the GOP somehow manages to reform itself for the better in the next four to eight years, certainly not with its existing base.

Like I said it's very racialized.

They are attacked so they assert the racial hierarchy automatically. They're saying they're not as bad as the rapper (aka black guy with all the racialized baggage that goes with it)

The of course forgive country's murder, sex, and other questionable content because they empathize with white people.

Someone really should call her out on that sudden switch.

Don called her out on it multiple times tonight actually, which was fantastic. He even got personal with it, stating that he's even a survivor of sexual abuse and that it is a conversation that must be had in this country right now. That it is an important issue.

She all but wrote it off, of course, but it was magnificent. Don has been doing incredible work.

Various young cultures are also problematic. I can't believe I've always been left-leaning since I was the only one of my friends who was. We were all metalheads, and so the usage of words like "faggot" "pussy" and so on was common. That redneck overlap with metal is real, and most of my friends are now really into shooting ARs in the woods and whatnot.

The sad part is I can't either. The best we can hope for is a republican speaker who isn't a total nutcase, is willing to deal, and to do the work of statecraft.

One of their big heroes is fucking Ted Nugent, and Cat Scratch Fever is more offensive than most songs I've ever heard.

Is it me but are Trump Surrogates themselves seemed to be a bit unhinged. Corey's damn near rabid, Kayleigh is low energy, Jeffery doesn't really talk anymore, scottie and kellyanne are getting schooled on an hourly basis.

And those are the A team. The ringers they dig up from the gutters are even worse, bordering on insane.

I dunno it kinda feels to me like despite things being close in Texas, it's late enough with enough people baked into their choice that I have a hard time seeing it flipping unless Republican turnout just tanks

Yes of course. At this point he just loves the attention. Talking policies doesn't get the response he likes. He really wants to rile people up and the best way to do it is go angry and nasty.

Plus I think he genuinely believes the crap he spews about how he is actually winning with the supporters he has now, and it's the media that is trying to make it seem like he's not.

Same here. I think we can realistically make it close. I also think it's going to be very difficult to get from close to an actual win.
