So are we doing ok? Increased turnout has historically benefited Democrats, but 2016 has fucked a lot of my preconceptions in the ear.

Also, if Trump loses, what are the odds he goes on stage and delivers a victory speech anyway?

Seems like we are doing fine.
not really Grandma Wifi Crystals is winning

Also since Trump filed a lawsuit in NV, I'm not sure how he handles the concession speech.

New to following the elections here in America. Will we know how the Senate race goes tonight as well?

That depends on how close NH is. Cause whether or not Ayotte holds onto her seat (she's the R) is going to swing it by the looks of it.

If that's razor thin we won't know until tomorrow or later.

We have live turnout numbers from some FL counties. 2 key ones:

Hillsborough

GOP doing better on election day, to be expected. But overall looks good IMO.

But more importantly, Broward:

GOP doing a lot better on election day. But hoping Dems catchup some more in evening.

Aren't Dems leading in that 2nd chart you posted?

Sign of how bad the GOTV effort is in Georgia: all my neighbors are Republican. None of them got GOTV visits or calls. Only 2 mail pieces.

If this does turn into an unexpected rout this is why. So damn lazy.

Oh yes, they are.

The thing is:

GOP voters have already erased Dems' 5% turnout edge from early vote. 69% of R's have now voted vs. 68% of D's as of 3pm

Basically as a % of registered voters more GOP has voted. I want more dems of course so Clinton can drive up that margin in Broward which is more Democratic than even Miami Dade.

Well, those look good! Especially if those "other" do lean Hillary, like expected.

The one county in FL not looking good in terms of raw party votes is Pinellas.

This is a D-leaning county but GOP have banked more raw votes. Of course with NPAs breaking favorably, Hillary can still win the county.

Obama won this country by 25k votes in 2012.

Turnout also appears to be down vs. 2012 in Pinellas though.

Tomorrow or later, the later due to recounts?

I'm an international student studying at Boston University. I can't vote so I actually went down and canvassed for the Hillary campaign in NH. Of course, with the Dems, canvassing for the top of the ticket meant promoting all the way down the ticket too (Because that's exactly the right way to do things)

Glad to hear NH is competitive. Hope my contributions help a little :)
Can't wait to watch the results play out with roommates (while also refreshing PoliGAF) tonight

Anyway why would we need votecastr when we have cartoon_soldier to provide confusing and contextless county-level data.
