Basically yes. It's why you can't get a huge delegate deficit early on. Making it up later is a solution that will not work unless your opponent drops out or has a massive support collapse.

Correct. You cannot get into a delegate deficit early, especially when you're a challenger. Bernie needs about 60% of all delegates from here on out to break even.

What's interesting is how Hillary is following part of Obama's 08 strategy, but conceeding the caucuses (just not to the same margins as in 2008). Obama's largest delegate lead in 2008 was 102, I believe. The closest Hillary ever got it to was 60(ish). With her super delegate lead, it's just not probable that Bernie can come back.

Is 60% assuming superdelegates never break towards him in a hypothetical where he takes the lead or something? You guys should really stop including them in your calculations.

Agreed. He'd also be a shitty VP. Yes, he might be able.to deliver OH, but that's it. He has no fight or fire in him and cannot play the attack dog role everywhere else.

One day soon I'll visit where my family is from and return to my vampiric roots. Glad to hear my Internet will be fast!!!

I bought a laptop with nearly identical specs from Best Buy for $399.99. It was on sale, though. Same processor and RAM. Works great for what I need it for. I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

Kasich is a big fat mess. He hasn't won anything. His whole hopes for winning the candidacy relies on there being a brokered convention and hoping the RNC fucks over Trump.

MIAMI — Conservative favorite Ben Carson, who recently suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, plans to endorse Donald Trump on Friday morning, according to two people familiar with his thinking.

The endorsement, perhaps the most high-profile nod for Trump since New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie backed him, was finalized Thursday morning when Carson met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, the luxury club owned by the Republican front-runner, the people said. The sources requested anonymity to discuss private conversations.

Friday’s announcement will also take place at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., where the onetime rivals will appear alongside one another at a news conference. Armstrong Williams, Carson’s business manager, confirmed that the pair met Thursday but declined to comment further. A Trump campaign spokesperson declined to comment about the meeting or a possible endorsement.

The laptop specs are great except the HDD, unless you need the space a SSD will give you a nice boost.
You could always buy a 3D NAND SSD from Samsung for a reasonable price.
