As someone who followed the whole FISA/PRISM controversy thing pretty closely... it's fucked. There are good people and bad mixed up in the leaks and disclosures, but what's really become a defining aspect of this period is how so much power in the hands of so few publishers has corrupted them pretty badly. Small outlets that were once whistleblower bridges now consider themselves crusader battering rams.
Man, just watched all of the vids in that post in the Kaine thread and came away incredibly impressed. He is such a knowledgable and well spoken individual that just reeks of responsibility and competence. Being a more moderate part of the Democratic party, I love his pragmatic streak and think that he'll definitely convert some disaffected Dems on the fence about Trump back to Hillary's side.
