Whats the mechanism for recalling a president?

Impeachment. Simple majority vote in House to begin process, conviction requiring 67 votes in the Senate.

House can call for impeachment for any reason it sees fit.

Oh yeah the guy who took a neutral stance on GG and had guys like Milo and Sargon on to his show long after Gamergate was explicitly exposed in Mainstream media for being the harassing shit show it was...

That's the guy whose advice I want to talk on how to be a better lefty.

Also why not elaborate on why you think the video is good instead of just dropping a near 10 minute long video with nary a word.

Dropping links (often to videos) with little explanation pretty much seems to be this person's MO. At least this time it's not a link to Milo's Facebook page.

Decided to see what the right wing news is sating about Sessions. As expected, it's all a witch hunt with no evidence and the left just attack Sessions because he supports Trump. And any Republicans calling for recusal are just RINOs.

I wonder how far things would have to go for them to not blame something on liberals. I bet you could have video of Trump making deal with Putin, they'd still it was the democrat's fault. Hell, I saw them saying that the recent uptick in anti-semitism was the democrat's fault

They lose GA-6 and things will turn around quick, I bet.

I don't know what that wall of quotes was but I swear I saw it. Adamsappel holding onto receipts for claim chowder later 🤔
Heh. I always have a ton of quotes I intend to respond to, but usually then realize a more cogent argument or funnier joke has already been made.
Every day we get new revelations just makes me angrier and angrier about Obama. I mean seriously, unless all of this turns out to be completely nothing I don't see how Obama is not forever maligned as the President who put the security and stability of the entire world in jeopardy all because he was afraid that calling out treason would been seen as 'partisan' behavior.
He wasn't afraid.

He was told, directly to his face by Mitch McConnel, that the republicans would not in possible way co-operate with this, and that if he did it Mitch would walk onto the White House lawn and call it a partisan stunt to protect Hillary because of her emails.
The republicans don't care about the country, and were more than happy to go along with Russian interference as long as they won and got their tax cuts.
And also nobody could have known that the Trump administration would leak like this, or that the IC would turn on them. This post-game condemnation of Obama wouldn't even be possible without him ensuring that information had to be preserved and could be shared between agencies.

Someone had better get a comment from Sessions on this

Adam Entous‏ @adamentous

We reached all 26 members of the 2016 Armed Services Committee to see who met with Russian envoy Kislyak in 2016. Sessions was the only one.

According to Shep Smith, a source has confirmed the Obama administration were worried that intelligence on russian interference would be swept under the rug by his successor, and so the intelligence was set to a low level of clearance so that as many eyes could see it as possible. Hence the leaks

To declare he is going to? To resign?

Not making a prediction here but both would be reasons to hold a press conference.

If he was resigning it would have happened already, no press conference for that. I'm saying...if he's recusing himself, why call a press conference? Why would Trump want his AG to get on tv and admit a mistake and "appease" the media/enemies/etc. Wouldn't he rather demand a defiant Sessions hold a presser, refuse to resign or recuse himself, and defend his actions?

Schiff was just on KCRW, kept repeating that Comey and the FBI are not being forthcoming and being very schizophrenic about what they will or will not comment on. In short, he says it's unacceptable.

I'm not quite sure what Sessions or the administration were hoping for by holding this press conference. I guess that enough Republicans will view the recusal as sufficient political cover to start defending and/or deflecting from him?

Whoa. Obama striking from the shadows.

The things that basically define Trump are blind loyalty, (faux) strength and showmanship.

So a press conference to blast the media would make more sense.

But I guess it's just that bad. And they think this will make it go away.

Is the NYT allowed in these again?

This won't end anything. If someone wants to say this settles the matter, remind them that it pretty much confirms that there are Trump-Russia investigations going on or there wouldn't be anything Sessions would need to recuse himself from. Get this jerk in front of a Senate committee again.

Still soooooooooo many questions not answered and I pray the media doesn't let up on them.

So I'm guessing the Attorney General perjuring himself is causing the travel ban to get delayed some more? Figured they would have done their little signing ceremony already.

I don't think a movie is going to cover it at this point. This calls for a 6-10 part miniseries on Netflix or HBO.

This is gonna be playing nonstop on the History channel for the next 4 decades.

Also he's referring to Struggle Sessions that occurred during the cultural revolution in China I guess. So... that's a weird cut. Equating being called out by your constituency as anywhere similar to a forced public humiliation where you're coerced into admitting to crimes you didn't commit.

on the fox program 'the five' today, the points were repeatedly made that Jeff Sessions took the high road by recusing himself and loretta lynch did not. The word perjury was never uttered

Alternatively - the FBI doesn't trust the GOP Congress members in the room to not tell Trump what is happening.

I'll still say it: Obama should have done more. He could have. I don't care if it would have been perceived as influencing the election. This is a crisis.

I've heard of those things before, but didn't know they were called "Struggle Sessions." Fitting that I would learn that today.
