Apparently John McCain was really saying that Obama's tax plans really were easy to figure out.

pretty much. outside of the nutjobs, the mccain camp is pretty confident their candidate is just gonna roll through this no problem.Trakdown said:There's been a pretty huge enthusiasm gap almost the entire election. It's beautiful.

This is so much bullshit. I can't believe people are stupid enough to believe this, and this propaganda and lies McCain and Palin are spewing will NOT be good for Obama when he becomes president.mj1108 said:From the second video seen here:

Oh right, yeah not today tobor. I'm more speaking of his own campaign feigning campaigning than anything else. When Bush had to destroy Kerry's campaign and all he had on that boyscout who would go after the CIA for possible drug trafficking was "flip-flopper". They got Obama practically bombing Aryan nurseries yet they still can't touch his numbers. McCain supposedly has the same political hit-men as Bush did yet they can't even keep it close? I say keep an eye on those ground teams in swing and contested states because their enthusiasm will reflect the real effort being put into each candidates real campaign.Tobor said:It was a bad joke, mixing world power conspiracy myths on purpose. Took until September to start hurting him.

Right, but they started August 5. It took a few weeks - and a few different ads - to kick in. That was my point.Rhindle said:The ad that blew things open was the one featuring his alleged boatmate, which per Wikipedia started airing on August 26. [/IMG]

We've only got just over three weeks left. They're trying the swiftboat tack with Ayres. Not working.

I don't like how Ohio is singled out for letting down the country. :lol At least we ALMOST voted against Bush. Why can't we focus our hate on Texas and the deep South? A lot of Gaffers were also annoyed that we supported Hillary in the primary, but since I voted for Hillary I feel less of a need to be defensive about that.
ANyway, I think Ohio will go blue this year.

Also, I just don't think any of this stuff is substantive enough relative to the situation that is at the forefront of everyone's minds. The swiftboats worked because they undermined his military credentials in a time when ability to lead the military was considered an important issue.GhaleonEB said:Right, but they started August 5. The stuff they're pushing now? People just don't care about it. People have heard of Ayers. They've heard of Wright. And should they try to bring up Rezko, they've heard of him too. Either people just don't consider these figures dangerous enough, or they've conceded that the ties are too weak to matter, but either way, these dogs won't hunt.

Obama wins the day. This could get old, folks, but its still true: every day that McCain doesnt move to change the campaign narrative is a victory for the Democrats.
Gotta love it.No huge political news, no big shifts in momentum - and no exciting moves from the frontrunners. Call it a tie.
