I don't see a problem with that. It is a business after all. I'm certain studio time and massive promo isn't cheap, and IIRC all that has to be recouped from an artists profits before they see one red cent. I can't be mad at anyone trying to make a profit from their art.
I suppose the argument could be made that they withhold the massive releases that they can convince people to shell out for from Spotify and in so doing they subsidise the smaller artists being on Spotify?
I don't know. What I do know is that if I can't listen to an album in one place, more than likely I can listen to it somewhere else. If I have to hear it bad enough, I'll buy it. Correct me if I'm wrong here, is spotify like a netflix for music? If so I can see why you'd wait until after the initial sales push to put it on there.

Maybe Photoshopé is trying to bring *finger quotes* the album experience back *finger quotes*, but she doesn't have to make another bloated, messy album.
I don't want to hear ANCIENT clips of her baby babble before a song like Ghost every time I play it (I know Bey just LOVES herself, but those intros get old for someone who is thinking #neuxonecurr)
I don't want have to manually split songs up for, let's say, the occasions when I would rather just hear Partition instead of Yonce.
