Whats the closest control scheme to the PS1 game?
I seem to rememeber someone posting in the other thread about remember to switch the controls to a certain 1.
I'm pretty sure It's B.

Were in the GC version as well, afaik.
Oh nice, that's some real detective workThe jiggle was there in the original as well, just easier to notice in the HD era.
We noticed that during the previews and dug up some Dolphin gifs to prove it.
ink ribbons really messes with me.
I'm a save maniac. I need to save at every point I come across.
I think I had 125 saves during my first RE4 play.

Everyone does this stuff when they first play RE1.I did this.
It should be for some days, at least is what I read.
And I underline again why having a cross-buy as a "preorder" feature is imply bad. Because people having both PS3 and PS4 won't buy the game again on the other platform, so cross-buy should be a default feature.
I hope they acknowledge and patch the odd sound issues.

Is this not out in US yet? I see it but I cannot purchase it yet.
Same, I can't recall ever running out in any of the games that use them. I also tend to over hoard ammo and have much more then I need at the end of the game.I always find that I get too stingy with the save ribbons in the old RE games, and I end up with like 20 unused ribbons at the end

How does this work? Does the exe detect a door scene and just skip it or something?
Classic controls / Type B
4:3
Normal difficulty (option one)
The way to go GAF.
Came here for this, no option to buy I thought its only me. What's wrong?
Sorry, ment to say Im trying to purchase on PS4. I can see it, but it just says Overview. No purchase option.
Watching my friend play it because I already beat it on the GCN.
He's playing on Easy (the setting that is in the middle) and he used up all of his ammo on the first two zombies. Died at the mansion key trap and screamed bull shit when he had to reload a save. Then he cursed again when he saw that he has limited saves. Then he opened the front entrance and got assaulted by dogs.
I give him tips and directions when he gives up. He just got the real mansion key though but he has no more saves so he has has to play at a stretch until he finds some ribbons.
He says the game is suspenseful and tense but very cheap due to game design (cheap as in unfair). He's playing on the new controls and the only RE games he has played are RE4-6.
being the generally accepted main character with Chris the alternative playthrough?
and quite a few bits of media is chris-centric?
Oh dear, I think I chose the second option, does that mean I'm playing the game on hard and is there a way to change it to normal?

The way the options appear are:
Normal
Easy
Very Easy.
Hard is unlocked once you beat the game. And no, you can't change mid-game. But you're playing on Easy
I used to loathe digital only but since I got my PS4, I made the switch. The Last of Us, New 'n' Tasty, Ground Zeroes and now Resident Evil are all titles I downloaded.I'm super on the fence. I'm not a fan of digital only, is there a chance Capcom will "Ducktales Remastered" this game? As in release digital now and release a disc a few months later? I want to bite and $19.99 is a good price but I don't want to get burned if a disc does get released...
Residentevil.net is really really slow. Good god. Can't seem to login.
It's always been like that for me, seems slightly slower today but I always found it took a while to get anywhere on the site
3,541 peak players today so far on Steam. Port seems to have done well, no?
Wasn't Chris hardmode and Jill Easymode Last time, with Jill (although optional) being the generally accepted main character with Chris the alternative playthrough?
Not sure if I have read this correctly, but Chris is easymode and Jill hardmode and quite a few bits of media is chris-centric?
Just an observation potentially wide off the mark, although curious if it is a marketing decision if correct.
Top 3 on Steam sellers lists as well. I hope this performs well for Capcom. All things considered, the PC version, and the remaster in general, are very well done.
Dodge them until you can get the shotgun, then aim up and fire with it.Im playing the re1 wii version, I really need tips, those fucking zombies don't die.
Resident Ittle?
This has definitely become true but its mainly just perception.
At the time of REmake Jill was the main character of the series, though Code Veronica had come out before REmake and was setting Chris up.
Its all about Chris and Leon these days, while Jill has been declining since RE3.
I added another line, hopefully that clears up any ambiguity.
