Oh my if this it's true!!! Ahhhhhhh O_O

Their placeholders are normally December 30th/29th so we'll see.I think if the release date was that close it should have been already announced with a new trailer. So I suspect this could be just a wrong placeholder.
But at this point marketing cycles have become super weird and here Konami is involved so everything is possible.
The three C's should do the trick.Anyone know how to survive on 4 hours of sleep.
Interesting...
I'd assume it's just Konami Konami-ing, honestly. They made it sound like they were ready to talk more about it very soon, but it was all up to Konami. I could see it landing in Sepetember, but if so, they should really be talking about it this week or next. They'd be cutting it too close. If it's ready why not show at the sony showcase?
Back in March the CEO of Bloober said the game was "technically ready" and development was more or less complete, he stated that they were just waiting on Konami to decide a release date/marketing strategy.I would not be surprised if its out on the 29th of september. They have been making this game for like what, 4 years?
Times have changed. We don’t even have a proper E3. It could be the Wild card Sony has yet to play.If this is true and Sony didn't have it at their showcase, it makes me fear it's bad - Bloober, bad.

Or they'll do a SoP. I still think they'll focus on Spider-Man 2 first and this slips to mid October. If this is true and Sony didn't have it at their showcase, it makes me fear it's bad - Bloober, bad.
Wouldn't that create a bigger marketing headache given Spider-Man 2 dropping October 20th?Or they'll do a SoP. I still think they'll focus on Spider-Man 2 first and this slips to mid October.
Oh shit, you're right. For some reason I had it in my head that SM2 was September.Wouldn't that create a bigger marketing headache given Spider-Man 2 dropping October 20th?
No worries haha, hard to keep track with all the releases flying past in Q4 of this year.Oh shit, you're right. For some reason I had it in my head that SM2 was September.
So I can def see a SoP for this and some other game updates. Or maybe Konami will handle it on their own.
Knowing Konami, preorder is a safe bet.Just received an email from VGP that they've added Silent Hill 2 Remake for preorder. They only show a placeholder release date if you go to the product listing on their store though: https://videogamesplus.ca/products/silent-hill-2-playstation-5

I recall just before FF7 Rebirth got a release date at the September State of Play there was some retailer activity in the previous week or two leading up to it. Might be a similar pattern...Just received an email from VGP that they've added Silent Hill 2 Remake for preorder. Amazon has now the SH2 listing as well with a placeholder release date of... Dec 31 2099.
The game will be terrible but what's the problem with the box art?No fucking way that's the actual boxart. It's placeholder, right?
Oh shit, is that stuff in this? When will it end??The phrase "remade for modern audiences" always makes me cringe.
