Judging from some of these replies, it seems GAF learnt absolutely nothing from Uncharted3-8.0gate.

Sorry, there's just no way she could have disliked them. She might have just thought she did.butter_stick said:Ugh.
Ahh, well when you put it like that.scitek said:Sorry, there's just no way she could have disliked them. She might have just thought she did.

Probably uses it like Wii Sports Resort to center the motionplus. If it is pointed towards another IR source, it will not work correctly. It sounds like he picked up another sensor bar in the office or something...butter_stick said:The game tells you to point at the sensor bar when you boot it up. It's not that crazy to expect the game to actually be using it.

Not sure if Adam's even played the game...he's been all Skyrim all the time, I think.AniHawk said:well what did adam think?
Gravijah said:nintendo would be in real big legal trouble if they named it darksiders 2!

make it a ps3 exclusive too with nice hd graphics and you pretty much have the best game ever.Gravijah said:so without motion controls the metascore for this game would be 103 right?

It's gonna be co-developed by Team Ninja and play just like Ninja Gaiden DS. And Zelda will be submissive to Link.butter_stick said:If Wii U Zelda has sword swipes on the touch screen, I'm not buying it![]()

Leonsito said:If anyone uses the controls the wrong way during a 35 hours long game, I don't think the user is to blame, the game should teach very clear the correct way to use them.
When someone doesn't understand you when you speak, maybe you are the one that doesn't explain himself well.

Well, it should. The "waggle to do an action a button can do" line of thinking is terrible.Salih said:i don't think there are alot of tutorials in this game. i played the demo without any kind of help and could beat the mid-boss perfectly. You can even beat Ghirahim in the demo without any motion-based problems. It is really not that hard to understand. It is emulating a sword, ffs.
some people just don't get motion controls. It s like the same guys who think the wiimote swinging for a spin attack in Mario Galaxy should be button-based.

They'll be begging for Motion Plus to come back to them.

I don't, like, *work* there, I just go in from time to time to pick up fun things and bring them back home.
Not sure why she didn't like the motion controls...she just said she didn't think they added anything.

Gamespot said:It's a shame that you spend so much time fighting the controls in Skyward Sword because the content is quite enjoyable.
Those yearning for something new will be disappointed, but anyone thirsty for another exciting adventure will find plenty to enjoy here.

actually, that's what i want instead of a sword. nintendo, make it happen.
I didn't say that he enjoyed them or not, he said they are 'broken'.Feep said:He was factually incorrect in that he stated that the infrared capabilities were used, but understanding the technical details of what the Wii remote is doing is irrelevant...the recalibration is annoying. And while I found every other aspect of motion control functional and fun, it's certainly a valid statement to say he didn't *enjoy* them. You can easily say something like, "They were not engaging," or, "They did not draw me into the experience," and those statements are perfectly valid.

It would be like a food critic saying that the grip of his steel fork was rather clumsy, when in reality it was a silver fork...
